Prairie Style Architecture. Very well preserved home, with an excellent tour.
Beautiful prairie style home gifted to Minneapolis Institute of Art. 1 hr. tour led by docent. Hours and days vary.
If you love Mid Century Modern architecture - you have to see it - go through MIA
If you love architecture and interested in the Prairie School, a place to visit! It is not a mansion but a middle class dwelling built in the style and very reflective of the philosophy of the Prairie School. You will need to buy tickets and take the shuttle from MIA to get in.
Interesting architecture. Nice house, tour was too long and boring. Would be fun if you are into art.
The architect was a teacher to Frank Lloyd Wright and it shows. Schedule a tour through the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Worth it!
