Best. Indian Restaurant. Ever. We regularly go to them for food and they constantly surpass themselves. This is not your fast food Indian. Their food is elegantly prepared, scrumptious, and made from scratch, not heated in sauces. Their vegetarian fare will turn you into a vegetarian and I recommend it over the meat.. It reminds me very much of homestyle Punjabi cooking if Punjabi cooking had chefs training. They recently catered our wedding, and it was tasty. Guests from all over the world-- including Delhi said it was impressive. A cut above.

The best punjabi food I’ve ever had, even compared to restaurants in Delhi and Punjab. It’s really a cut above the rest, everything we ordered was so tasty and high quality. Wish they  were in Toronto! The service was great too, thanks for a lovely meal.

I shifted to Montreal 3 months ago and have been visiting this place regularly almost every day. The taste is absolutely delicious and you will never get disappointed. Rates are really affordable. Service is really good with smiling faces looking forward to help you. I would appreciate Daman for her service and dedication she puts in to serve customers. Hope punjab canteen continues there service like this and all the best to the team. Cheers

The food is delicious for Punjabi Indian cuisine,however I wouldn’t recommend it for Chinese food. If you want to try Punjabi flavours than you can visit the restaurant.  The other thing, I have noticed they are giving onions with cabbage,I didn’t like that combo, I prefer only onions.

Food was good , definitely need more visit try out the entire menu however service was little slow the same time it might have to preparing the dishes fresh hence, 4 stars. Atmosphere is good, deco is good however washroom way too small... Lol... You might get stuck  and too many tables hardly space to move without bumping

It was a delicious dinner. It’s our first time to be there and we tried cholle bhature and Amritsary kulchha, really really yummy. Recommended Indian restaurant in Montreal. If you’re planning to visit montreal you should be there for lunch or dinner with your family for an amazing experience.

Food was so delicious. I had Amritsari kulcha and spring rolls OMG it was so delicious. After so long I ate something that good. Spring rolls were so tempering n sizzling. Amritsari kulcha was super duper delicious. Thankyou so much to all of your staff. They're doing such a great job. Special thanks to the chef who made that kulcha. And thanks to the girl who was serving us.

We ordered Aloo tiki, Amritsari Kulcha, Malai chaap, Dahi puri..  Good quantity, good quality, good price.  Everything was super amazing!!  If you’re looking for authentic Indian taste, definitely try this place…

Never going here. The food was awful awful, staff not friendly either. We order manchurian and veg noodles. Manchurian were uncooked see the picture, we called up the server and showed it to her and she said she’d be right back. No one came back. The gravy wasnt good either just bland and sweet. I love black pepper but they sprinkled too much of it on the food.  When we proceeded to pay we brought this issue up and the cashier started to yell on us.

One of the most authentic and delicious North Indian food I have ever tasted in Montréal. Service was super fast and orders are ready on time. I would recommend it to everyone who craves for North Indian food.
