Incredible hidden gem! Great price for all their plates, and very fair portion sizes! Not to mention, everything is incredibly flavourful. THE PORK CHOP IS A MUST HAVE! It was very tender, and packed with flavour. 10/10!
Amazing spot. Didn't know it existed. So happy we went and will be back. I don't really like bruschetta, but omg I couldn't get enough of it there. I had spaghetti, and the meatballs were great. My wife's squash ravioli was good she said but I tad small of a portion. We also had the gingerbread parfet type desert that was so deadly.Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food itself is flavourful and fresh but nothing mind blowing. It being an Italian kitchen I was expecting a real Italian pizza but got disappointed.

Living in the area I've visited Sauce Kitchen & Market since it opened. I've yet eaten at the restaurant though heard it's great I have had lunch and prepared take away meals from the market area; the food is always fresh & tasty. Definitely recommend!
We had such a great time. Me and the lady went on a date here. We went on a Monday and arrived around 430. The restaurant was cozy, romantic, well lit and charming as heck. The paintings and lights were really fun. Our server Courtney was playful and attentive. She was kind and laughed with us a bunch and was always around to help us out. It was quiet when we go there but by the time we were leaving it started to get pretty busy so keep that in mind. The appetizers were a must, those meatballs and sweet potatoes were unreal. The dinner portions were generous and flavourful. The sweet potatoes specifically were essentially a warm hug from your grandma in food form. We will definitely go back and we have to drive from Aridrie to get there, it's work the like hour and a half to 2 hours of total driving time. It's was that yummy.
Very disappointing. My husband Peter and I were here for our anniversary. Dinner was fine, food was good but we were rushed through dinner and told we had 20 minutes to order and eat dessert before they closed at 8:30. As this was our first anniversary out post covid and we were out for a nice dinner however we understood if it was a quiet night. Not 10 minutes later at 8:10, two or three more tables were seated, ordered bottles of wine and started to look at the menu. I am quite sure they would not have that consumed, dinner eaten and out in 20 minutes. Our server brought over our bill and rushed away, no one asked how our meal was etc. We looked forward to coming and trying this place out for some time. We have frequented the cafe numerous times and I can't emphasize how disappointed we were in our dinner experience. There are a lot of great Italian restaurants in Calgary. We won't be back.
This was our first time here. Wonderful atmosphere and our supper was amazing. Our waiter Laren was by far the best we have ever had. He made our dining experience even better. He was very attentive and has a great sense of humour. I will make sure he is working and that we get his section the next time we return.
I went there yesterday for a later lunch. Most of the tables were busy. Staff leave you lots of time to look at the menu and talk with your friends. Loved the whipped ricotta, mushroom and pesto with honey drizzle on top as the appetizer. All the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Really enjoyed our pasta dishes.
Sauce is one of my favourite places to go when I have a Chicken Parmigiana craving. Or anything else they have in their glorious Italian menu. The staff is absolutely wonderful and super friendly and cater well to those with Italian food addictions. Thank you and my tummy thanks you too.
