Great atmosphere. Good food.   The food was alright, its a very nice place hardwood panels and fireplace.    But casual dress is still fine.

Dined on the patio. Thorough and friendly service. I ordered the Salmon w/ an Asian style marinade & veggies; very tasty, nice portion & fairly priced. Live music was about a block away with a perfect 74 degree evening w/ my GF. Excellent experience.

Fairly impressed!  VERY dog friendly patio.  Food is a bit expensive, but good (~$12-15/plate).  I've had to wait for service on the patio, but otherwise never had a problem!

The girlfriend and I were just combing through rural MN and we came to Mankato. Got a room for the night and then went out drinking. Pub 500 was a pretty welcoming place. 
The bar tender (Peter) was warm, welcoming and entertaining. Worth every penny.

Great food with okay prices. Pulled pork and Turkey sandwiches are very good.
