Beautiful sightseeing area with some parking, a public restroom, and a food stall seasonal. There are benches to rest at along the side and also some picnic tables. Animal proof trash cans are also available. The view is spectacular any time of the day, but especially during sunset. You can see the waters, the hills, and the Golden Gate Bridge all in one scenic shot. Definitely a great place to stop at in Stanley Park. Paid parking also available.
I am a local to Vancouver but went to Prospect Point for the first time this year. It was a nice walk/mild hike from English Bay there and it was a gorgeous view when I arrived. Also the little cafe/bar was an added bonus to cool down with a cider while I enjoyed the view on a very warm summer day.
Very spectacular recommend going there and walk all the way down you will find awesome view for photography. People go there even for wedding. There are some shops around if you wanna buy something. Loved the atmosphere there.
The Prospect point lookout is a nice stop on a bike ride around the park. Views of Vancouver the Lions Gate Bridge are amazing! After taking pictures we had ice cream at the Prospect Point Bar & grill. There are some clean restrooms adjacent to the restaurant too.
Amazing lookout point at Stanley Park; rather my favourite spot because of the multiple angles you can see on the adjacent side of the park. On a good day, you can see Lions Gate Bridge, West Vancouver, and some of the larger mountains, and not to mention the Burrard Inlet. Getting here isn't difficult either, but depends on the route you take. Come up from the Prospect Point Lighthouse is a trek.
If you want to go to the Stanley park by bike, it’s a perfect place to have a break! Pay attention that a seawall is partially closed now, so detour is offered and you need to go up to this point and then down to make a circle around Stanley. Magnificent views will be a reward for your hard work and sweating
This is an amazing place with magnificient views. Right by the lions gate bridge, you can see the water, mountains, and the bridge. Altogether it makes for an amazing view. Given a chance I will go there over and and over again.
This is a great place for a quick stop to take breath taking photos. Short walk down a paved path to the look out point. Even on a cloudy day it’s still breath taking. Public washrooms and paid public parking available
This is a must-see tourist stop in Stanley Park. It gives you a high up view of the ocean and North Vancouver. You also get an upclose view of Lion's Gate Bridge. There's a convenient parking lot adjacent to the area so you can stop close by if you come by car. Alternatively, biking to the top takes a bit of energy, but the ride down is nice and windy. There's a nice restaurant, ice cream shop, and souvenir shop here to fulfil your tourist needs. However, beware the places are seasonal so during colder months, you have no access to any of the facilities. Bring a camera when you're here.
Amazing view of the lions gate bridge from both on the over pass bridge and lookout point besides the bridge. there’s also a path to go down closer to the water there. Very romantic spot to take your girl and enjoy the view of the city.
