I just stopped in to try Primal cravings for the first time and so far so great! Kitchen sink pasta with zucchini is excellent I did dress it with a little Italian seasoning and chili flakes to add a little more heat but the consistency and taste was excellent. I will review the other dishes later. I highly recommend this fast food alternative that tastes great. I think they've unlocked the mysterious balance between fast food and Homestyle taste great work!
Primal cravings has great selection if you are on a keto diet. Pricing is as you would expect for a health food product. The service has always been professional and friendly. I usually purchase the Sugar Daddy baked goods which are the best in my opinion but I have tried their other selections which are very good as well. I find the Buster Rhino pork rinds to be some of the best I've ever tried savory BBQ and dill pickle are my favourites I have tried a few of their premade meals and they were okay... They are good if you want to save time but nothing most people couldn't make at home.
Love this. I just started eating a more Paleo focused diet for many reasons. I drove by Primal Cravings a few times but wasn't sure about it... I went in and tried it and have been there every week. Portions are great, prices for "take out" meals are great, cheaper than fast food alternatives in most cases. Great lunch options for me and my husband. Haven't had a complaint once. Rachel is so full of energy and very helpful if you are new and don't know what you want when you go in!
Truly one of Burlington's best healthy 'fast food' establishments. All meals are prepared in advance. The most difficult part of this experience is deciding between menu items. Rarely will you wait more than 7 minutes after deciding which delicious dish to devour. I have always been greeted by the friendly, informative owner who is passionate about paleo. Meals leave you feeling satiated, energized and comfortable. You must try this at least once!
I've purchased about 3 meals from primal cravings. Everything is fabulous! The staff is friendly. It's a great place to pick up a quick healthy meal. You don't even know you're eating paleo! The "pizza in a pan" is so far my favorite I only wish they had a larger location so there could be a sit down restaurant type area.
I went to this store with minimal expectations and left with my expectations exceeded! They have friendly staff who took the time to show me their products and make some great recommendations. I bought the chicken parmesan and the butter chicken dishes and I can't tell you how amazing they were. I am eating the butter chicken as we speak.....their food was amazing and they have a wide array of other tasty delights....I will be a return customer for sure!!!!
So, so good! You don't have to be Paleo to love Primal Cravings. You could just love good food - or have dietary restrictions that prevent you from eating dairy or grains. But no matter your reason for going, Primal won't let you down. Rachel is a great cook and the food is fresh every day. The menu changes daily, so you need to check out the website to see what's on. You won't be disappointed - menus include everything from Paleo Pad Thai to Tacos! And you'll definitely want to stop in when Bacon Bombs are on the board. My favorite are the breakfasts and baked goods. Since I can't eat grains, Rachel's butter coffee and a grain-free bagel are my favorite treats! Also HIGHLY recommend the always-available granola SO GOOD, protein bars pricey but delicious and bundt cakes. And the apple butter cookies. Yum. And now I want a butter coffee and an apple butter cookie.
Good food, good quality ingredients, great tasting! Healthy options, good selection of meals and good size portions, all taking into consideration weight management. I will not be cooking again any time soon!
I am afraid to tell anyone about his secret on Guelph Line. Taco Tuesdays!!!! OK the other things on the menu are wonderful too. This is clean home cooked meals. If you are looking for paleo diet or generally healthy take out meals many gluten free options then try this out. Prices are amazing. Rachel is the owner and if they are open...she is there.
Just stopped by here today. Called before going because wasn’t sure what food was available, if it was hot..etc. They were SO helpful on the phone and gave me the heads up fresh cookies were coming out of the oven. The cookies were DELICIOUS I ate them both by the time I made it home. I heated the meal I had purchased keto chicken alfredo topped with bacon. It was amazing, I truly havent been this satisfied with a keto meal until this. Excited to try the other meal I purchased kitchen sink. Thanks!!
