"Prairie Wind Retreat Center is a retreat center with sleeping for up to 10, for groups of people that come to work on crafts or spend time together. The retreat center has a complete living area with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area, kitchen and workspace. Supplies of tables, chairs, trash containers, and many other tools are provided for guests to use for completing their tasks. Groups of 5-10 people usually gals come with loads of crafty stuff, their own food, clothing and personal items, and they stay for 2-4 days and make quilts or scrapbook.Bookings are encouraged to occur on any day of the week with at least 2 nights in a row. We are a lodging business, so we are open 24 hours a day. No drop-in guests allowed."

The Prairie Wind Retreat Center is where a group of crafting ladies and I get to yearly. Its beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained, the beds are super comfortable. We always have so much fun when we go to this retreat center. The hosts Becky and her husband are wonderful and very helpful. I really look forward to going here every year. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
My family group of crafters has gathered at Prairie Wind several times in past years. We always have such a good time, and Becky is the perfect hostess! When we arrive, her helpful hubby helps carry all our supplies inside,, and Becky checks in with us to see if there is anything we need after we get settled in. It's a very comfortable space to work in, and they don't mind if we rearrange tables to work for us. The kitchen is well stocked, and the sleeping arrangements are comfortable and peaceful. I recommend this retreat center to anyone who asks!
Becky is the most incredible host! She truly cares for the needs of her guests. The actual working space for crafts is amazing. It is set up for any type of projects. I would and have recommended Prairie Wind to several. Thank you, Becky, for your hospitality.
Prairie Wind Retreat is a beautiful location to getaway with your lady friends and catch up and work on projects. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, you definitely feel like it's a retreat. You'll be greeted with assistance carrying in luggage and any sewing machines/tools/equipment you've brought. With a beautiful, country-side setting, you'll feel relaxed, and rejuvenated when you choose to spend time with your friends creating pieces that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!!!
This is an amazing retreat center and B & B! A group of friends and I have been meeting up there yearly now for four years. The owners are amazing people offering too notch hospitality. The retreat center is incredibly clean and well stocked with amenities. The surrounding area is just beautiful and one of my favorite things to do is walk around their conservation designated land and observe all the wildlife. It’s a place of peace and tranquility.
Our group of crafters have been coming to Prairie Wind Retreat for several years. The Krause’s are so welcoming and have created a beautiful space for a retreat. This is our favorite please to get away on retreat!
Spent a lovely weekend at the retreat. The owners are fabulous. The amenities are great with top notch comfortable beds. Can’t wait to go back in October. It’s definitely the best retreat we have stayed at.
