Prairie House Family Restaurant

The staff was friendly and their Pie hit the spot(as always!) The restuarant was clean ~ including the bathroom which is a must at any eatery. If you find yourself in the area don't hesitate to stop in.

Waiter was new and didn't exactly have the hang of it. Walked up to the table and stood there silent with a notepad in hand. Didn't know the soups, vegetable or what came with the meal. Was friendly but appeared to be lost. She went to ask what the soup was and didn't come back for a while, like she got distracted. The restaurant was nearly empty so not too busy. I think the owner was there giving her hints on how to do the job but she didn't have a knack for waitressing. Meatloaf was dry and uninteresting. Cute little restaurant with the locals sitting around chatting. The ambiance was nice.

Our Food was really good. No Complaints. And Waitresses were kind and quick with the coffee refills :)

Good food for the price. Wait staff was good. Nothing special here, hardy food for a small town. I'd give a 5 if they had more unique items on the menu.
