You don't get this much meat anywhere else in Canada.
The restaurant has a nice retro yet modern design. It seems like a pretty new restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a club sandwich to go. I will not comment on it as I only had a chance to eat it a while later.
I tried their signature "Poutineville" poutine, and it's pretty unique. The sauce tends to taste more on the "gourmet" side than the "fastfood" side. You can taste the red wine in the sauce. I enjoyed it, will be going back.
Went back again definitly recommend for most smoke meat lovers. Preferred over nickles, smokemeat poutine is top notch.
I went today with my wife and we had a very bad experience with this place. First you're welcomed by the "purell" is a very sticky and perfumed which is so strong that even after washing your hands, it has an overbearing scent that buries the aroma of the food. Followed by poutine that is basically cold potatoes covered in a warm sauce and cheese, probably hoping the sauce would reheat the potatoes? Needless to say, I don't understand the hype with this place. Issues aside; an italian saussage poutine doesn't actually have italian saussages on them for $13 but rather a sauce that is italian saussage flavored.. ---- Je suis aller aujourd'hui avec ma femme et on a eu une tres mauvaise experience. Premierement tu es acceuillé par un des pire "purell" que j'ai vu a date, tellement pafumé que meme en te lavant les mains l'odeur enterre l'arome de la poutine elle meme. Ensuite, la poutine etait fait de patate froides avec de la sauce chaude par dessus et du fromage.. Je me demande si ils pensaient que la sauce allais rechaufer les patates? Je comprends pas pourquoi que les reviews sont si hauts, sans compter les problemes... Si tu commmandes une poutine avec saucisses italienne, t'a pas de saucisse dessus, meme a 13$, juste une sauce a saveur de saucisse..
Bad delivery service, the delivery guy didn't speak our language, not so fresh food the salad looks old in the sandwich, fries wasn't cook in the poutines and I don't know what sauce they use, I ordered 2 regular poutine on the side and that brown sauce ain't poutine sauce, seriously first time trying and that was the last very disappointed. Oh and the delivery guy didn't know how to hold the stuff my sandwichs and poutines were on the side so really bad experience.
We were welcomed and explained the menu. So many varieties. And if it is not enough you can compose your own poutine. I ordered the Phily and my wife the montrealaise to go. Service was excellent and fast enough. The meals were so warm I had to run to my car so I dont get burn. I was sold at the first bite. I strongly recommend for poutine lovers. Thx And long live poutineville.
What a great spot. The poutines we have tried were good and the fried pickles were yummy. Very cool spot with lots of choices regardless of your mood for poutine, greek food or dessert such as cannoli's. It is so much more than you think
The poutine was sublime, the staff were incredible! They easily switched from French to English without making us feel stupid. They explained everything and went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. The food was amazing! I recommend getting your potatoes smashed and your poutine gratine, you won't regret it.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Even when it was close to closing time our server was amazing.
