My wife and I just had some at the food truck in Northfield and they were great. Very flavorful, which I was honestly not expecting due to the cultural expectations, but wow! Blew me out of the water.
Living most of my life in Grass Valley CA, and having 4 or 5 Pasty shops. I was very happy to find this place. While for me it was not like back home but honestly, these pasties are in their own world. I would say this is a important stop in your food journey. Eat here and you wont be disappointed.
Pasties are very flavorful and well seasoned. Expensive in my opinion but still worth the try. Service was a bit unorganized but not super inconvenient.
I love the sausage rolls here. I like that you can get "take and bake," so you can heat them up in your oven for twenty minutes and they're fresh and warm with a nice, flaky crust. The people are always really friendly here and the food is always satisfying.
This place is so good. Food trucks and physical location. It's a little confusing to get to... It's on the back side of Joe's market, and you have to go down stairs to the basement. It's worth it. Love it. Go there now.
The filling is good but this is the second time in a row I’ve gotten undercooked or raw pastry dough. Really disgusting and ruins the experience.
Their pies are awesome. We usually get them for take and bake. Only reason for 4 stars is the quality varies, sometimes they're not as amazing as usual but they're still good, and also, they usually run out of the special of the week or send them all on the food trucks :
Park around the back and go down the stairs that will make you think you are about to be murdered....instead the pie or pasty you are about to eat will slay your tastebuds.
The pork and apple is amazing. Well so is the traditional. Try them ALL!
