Potoker Steven D Dr

Best doctor that I have been to in a while! I had my first appointment with Dr Potoker today and he took the time to examine my acne and scarring and then clearly went through what may be causing it and the steps we will be taking together to improve my skin. I also should mention that he made sure to order blood test for me before he suggested any intense acne medications. Dr Potoker prescribed me topical products and clearly explained what I should do with them. I am over all completely satisfied with this doctor. It has been a long time coming but I finally think I found myself the perfect permanent dermatologist!

He is a consummate pro with so many years of experience and a great eye. I go every year or two for a head to toe inspection and I trust him with my life. I find him friendly and patient. He is an artist at removing facial moles and blemishes etc.

Please don't go there!! Don't waste your time. he had a good reputation in the past but now he doesn't care... He doesn't even evaluate the patients properly. He doesn't take the time to look at your skin with a lens or with anything. He is just passing time there- a doctor who is on the verge of retiring who doesn't care. He prescribed me Acutane which didn't work!! And when I went to see another doctor- he was shock that Dr Potoker even thought to give me this. The doctor looked at me with a sad look and said:" you know even have acne, you have a skin infection but NOT ACNE". i wasted so much MONEY and TIME for nothing. I stayed with Dr Potoker for three years and I didn't get better, not even a bit. Two-three weeks after changing doctors, I saw a difference. I swear to God. I wish I could bring him to court for malpractice... But that's another story. Im currently writing to the Canadian medical board about my experience so please don't waste your time. Oh ya and his secretaries : HORRIBLE PPL- just read any review online about Dr potoker and most of them tell u how rude and mean his secretaries are !!!! And it's a TRUE Story, horrible ppl.

Dr Potoker was clear, friendly, confident, patient & knowledgeable. Highly recommend him as he answered all my questions. Thank you Dr. Potoker!!!

Possibly the worst and most arrogant of MD's you might encounter. Not knowledgeable in the least. There are so many wonderful and smart young derms out there - this one should be avoided like the plague...

I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. Often busy but worth the wait.

If the doctor is nice and listens , the staff is unpleasant . The old Wendy is arrogant , rude and does not care about patients A shame !

Terrible. Left me with a permanent huge scar on my wrist. Wouldnt recommend and his receptionists are incredibly rude.
