Hi everyone, My wife and I want to give a huge shout-out to a very high-quality local business. We were very impressed and wanted to pass along their information. Potato Skins on Yonge at Manor is a made-to-measure slipcover and fabric reupholstering company. Specializing in quality machine washable slipcovers for any style and size of the furniture.  Recovering chairs, couches, futon covers, love seats, sofas, sofa beds, sectionals, ottomans, dining room chairs, patio furniture, bench seats, chaise lounges, wing chairs as well as leather, wicker & wooden furniture. Commercial – retirement homes, restaurants, private clubs, salons, corporate offices We needed our outdoor cushions reupholstered and looked everywhere, including Wayfair. We even ordered some from Wayfair and they came apart on first use, they were such junk. Then we stumbled upon Potato Skins, which is an amazing local business owned by Lisa Buckland. She did a fantastic job for us, using very high-quality Sunbrella custom colour fabric and super-strong zippers, all for the same price as those found on Wayfair. We are so happy and can’t thank her enough. If you need any outdoor or indoor furniture reupholstered we highly recommend Potato Skins!

Can't say enough GREAT things about Potato Skins. We were pretty apprehensive customers coming through the door, but the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and have done done covers for years. We chose some very nice fabric, took the measurements required and voila a new beautiful couch cover! One difficulty we ran into is that our couch dates back to the early 80's in style and the arm rests made did not fit properly. I did a knew sketch of the arm rest and side of the couch and they made up the new arm rest covers free of charge. If you have an old couch you love, like us, Potato Skins is the place to go to bring it up in style. Ann Schnurr

Excellent slip covers. We had look everywhere for a shop like Potato Skins. Lisa and her team make your furniture look like a brand new pieces of furniture. I would only use Potato Skins in the future.
