Porta Via

This is an amazingly fresh, affordable, family run restaurant in the Markham/Richmond Hill area. I was incredibly surprised to see how fresh their ingredients are, how affordable their grain bowls are, and how delicious their food is. The young man behind the counter was helpful and helped me pick toppings - I ordered a preset bowl of kale, rice, quinoa, chickpeas, corn and mixed vegetables. It was delicious. The bowl itself was very large and could last for two meals. I was shocked that it was only $11. I paid extra for the seared tuna premium topping, which was also delicious. My husband ordered the spicy mozzarella beef panini, which he said was cooked to perfection. It's a nice touch that they offer complementary coffee as well. This is perfect for anyone looking for a healthy meal, whether it be vegetarian, vegan, or conventionally meat. I would highly recommend this place and we'll certainly be coming back in this future. There is sufficient room for dining in and they also offer catering. Vegetarian options: They have an unlimited set of vegetarian and vegan options as you can create your own grain bowl. Parking: There's a parking lot directly in front of the restaurant.

Ordered the spicy striploin with lentil soup and the veggie sandwich with tomato soup. Food was fresh and tasty, reasonably priced. I would’ve liked more goat cheese see photo attached on the veggie sandwich. Would like to try one of the salads as they look great!

I go to two office locations in a day for work and this is right in between so it's perfect as there aren't many healthy, quality options around. I got the Tuscan Panini wrap with sweet potato and peppers soup, and it was delicious. I didn't see the menu beforehand and was pressed for time so I just asked the employee what was good and he was great in giving suggestions and understanding what I wanted. Lovely people, excellent options and amazing quality food!

Been meaning to try this store for the longest time however since they are only open on the weekdays it’s a little difficult to find time. However this is definitely love at first taste. The whole foods and the freshness of each bite really made the trip worth it.

My first time being here and I am completely impressed! This is the best, healthiest place I've ever been to. Right when you walk in the place looks clean and fresh, the staff was more than happy to explain the menu to us. We ordered the grilled veggie and the avocado chicken wraps with a side of their vegan roasted tomato and sweet potato soup. The food is wholesome, flavourful, and I left feeling energetic and fully satisfied. Amazing location to visit for lunch!

My go to spot for a fresh sandwich or salad for work lunch. Good variety to choose from and made fresh on the spot. Healthy! Staff are very friendly.

Very clean location and the staff are amazing. They were very helpful with my orders and service was fast. Their website is easy to navigate and makes ordering ahead of time a breeze. Food is delicious! The variety of salads and sandwiches makes Porta Via great for business meetings.

Porta Via makes pretty fancy wraps and sandwiches, soups and salads from scratch in an upscale fast food setting. I've never been disappointed. Obviously ideal for a quick lunch. So prepared to pay a premium for the quality, though!

For lunch today, I ordered the Spicy Sirloin & Salsa Verde Panini. You receive your choice of salad or soup. I chose to have a salad. I was surprised I could only eat half of my sandwich. Definitely value for the money. The beef was very tender, not chewy. The salad was very fresh and had a light dressing. The cashier also offered me a complimentary coffee. Not sure if that is for everyone all the time? Or a one time thing since this is my first visit? Either way, the gesture was nice.

Fresh food! Healthy, and filling. Great experience. Highly recommend!
