Poppy Barley

This location is absolutely stunning and everything is displayed very beautifully. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I am very happy with the products I picked out and they are of the highest quality! I recently took my new commuter backpack to California and got so many complements on it !

Bought a pair of men’s shoes a few years ago, I only wear them on special occasions maybe five times total and the seams started coming apart. I contacted customer service and they just pointed me to a shoe repair guy in the city. Shoes look nice but the quality leaves some to be desired.

Took a chance and ordered the Daily Loafer without having ever tried them on. They were perfect! So soft and comfortable...shipped very quickly! I LOVE them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for stylish and high quality footwear at a reasonable price.

Friendly staff, and great looking men's shoes. Looking forward to getting some miles on two new pairs.

I was excited to get a pair of beautiful flats from Poppy Barley. When I brought my pair home, I noticed some water stains on one of the shoes. No problem! I went back to the store for an exchange, and one of the associates brought me what they said the only pair left in store even though I was told that there were 3-4 pairs in stock the day before. I took a look at the new pair and there were huge black scratches... The associate said that it's the leather of the flats that are prone to marks like that, and I told her that I would like to purchase a brand new pair with no apparent damage... Long story short, I was able to get a pair that meets the basic standards. However, I don't think I'll go back to Poppy Barley due to their overpriced shoes for their quality.

I was so excited to get my purse in, I went a couple weeks back and fourth deciding which color. I knew with covid and me changing from wearing a diaper bag to a purse I wanted to support local and splurge on myself a little bit. I decided on the beautiful tan color. Unfortunately I am so disappointed with it, I do not recommend it as an everyday purse. It is super sensitive leather and if anything gets on it it is hard to get out. My son was next to be and I got a couple small splashes of milk on it. Was given directions how to clean it and it did not come out. It discoloured when I cleaned it. Although the stain may have been on me this leather is so sensitive where you can’t get anything on it. The stitching at the bottom is coming out and the inside is pretty cheaply made for over a $350 bag. I have had many leather bags and know of many companies that stand by their products but all I was told is to take it to a leather cleaner which would cost me more It kills me to write a bad review but I am just so disappointed.

This store is so dreamy! It was my first experience and I could have shopped all day! Absolutely beautiful well-crafted shoes that certainly don’t sacrifice style for comfort. Great selection for any occasion. Staff are very knowledgeable and made the buying process very easy. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my poppy barley shoes!!!!

Amazing quality! I own a 5 pairs. My husband and sons each own footwear from Poppy Barley. I have told my friends about Poppy Barley. They are hooked. The Calgary store is under 5 km from my home. I stop in regularly. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products.

I have purchased multiple items from PB and absolutely love what the brand stands for, their styles, and have received great customer service. I had one pair of shoes warrantied and I found them very responsive. They were able to offer me multiple options to remedy my concerns, which ultimately ended in me exchanging my shoes for a new pair as I love them so much. I am glad that they stand behind the quality of their shoes and will continue to support them because of this, however, I would suggest that that take into account the harsh weather conditions, gravel on roads etc., that our shoes have to endure in the winter to make a more durable product in the future - especially for high wear items like booties and boots. Every Poppy Barley item has been so exciting and beautiful. I should know... Well made, great designs, excellent craftsmanship and will be forever in my life. Timeless pieces that will be cherished and can only get better with time at least all the bags and accessories . The shoes are a daily necessity but having great shoemakers makes future “pass me down” a reality. Love my PB...totally my jam!
