What an Amazing RV park!!! Well kept with all the amenities…. Shower house, laundry facilities, firewood, well tree’d with green space for the kiddos…. Plus full hookups and all at a great price. Best RV park in the area hands down!! Family camp or a place to call home while working in the area…. Can’t be beat ! ***** And Julie the owner is awesome to deal with
Great experience! pulled in late and had issues getting cash from the ATM in town was given the option to pay via e-transfer. They have 4 separate 3 piece bathroom stalls free showers!! along with washers and dryers for catching up on your laundry clean the lint trap after also free. WiFi worked great! Who can beat a bobcat bucket full of wood for 20 dollars? This is a great campground and I will return !
What a wonderful place! Currently open for temporary housing for out of town workers. The sites have full hook ups, the grounds are clean and there is plenty of green space. Pricing is great, they have wifi available, and are pet friendly. It was easy to get a hold of management, and they were very detailed in answering questions, ensuring I had all the information I may need. 10/10 would recommend!
Julie was very kind over the phone and helped us get a campsite late at night with the option to pay via etransfer! The rv park is super, close to town with all amenities including full hook up service, free wifi and clean washrooms with free showers
This was our second time staying at Poplar Escape RV Park and our previous stay was nice. This time around, our experience was disappointing. Originally we were booked into a bigger camp site then when we checked in, we were moved to a smaller one that was hard to get into. The roads were narrow and it took almost 20 minutes to finally get our 32' trailer in the site. That night at 1am, a "flat-line" sounding alarm went off in the shed right behind our site and after 20 minutes of "hoping" it would turn off on its own...I had to text the owners to turn it off. They apologized via text, and after 25 minutes of listening to this annoying sound, it was finally turned off. The next night, the same alarm went off and yet again, I had to text someone to turn it off. On day 3 of our stay, it rained, and the whole campsite turned into a mud pit. The main road in and out of the campground was muddy and full of potholes. At about 6pm that night, the flat-line alarm went off yet again! This time, I texted right away and suggested that they disconnect the alarm for the night. At no point did anyone come by and personally apologize for the disturbances. If someone had, this review may have been a bit different.
This is from my last trip in March 2015 This park is about 5 minutes from the town of Bonnyville. 20 back in sites separated by young poplar trees. Of course it's still winter here and there is still snow and most of the ground frozen. We had a 30 amp site with sewer and water. Park is open all year. There is as well a few sites with 50Amp service I saw. The couple owning this site are super friendly and helpful. We called late and during dinner time, they right away went out of their way to clean a site from the snow and great us. The showers, bathroom and laundry building is just getting finished. Once done it will have 4 complete private stalls with shower, toilet and sink. Laundry usage is free. We camped at Poplar Escape in a Motorhome.
Probably the best campground iv been to in a long time. Very quit. Nice ppl. Free wifi shower and laundry. Will be going back next time I'm down. May suggest a bigger park for the kids but other then that perfect sight. Thank you.
We go here every year for the summer. We love the convenience of being just 2 minutes outside of Bonnyville.
Great place free laundry and wifi with full hook ups
Well deserved 5 stars
