0 Stars. Worst service ever. Do not eat here. I paid $10 for a meal that wasnt even worth it. When I got my food, I opened it and the biscuit was rock hard, burnt and very clearly in the oven too long. Its one of my favourite parts, on the rare occasion I eat Popeyes. I asked for a new one and the manager on duty said I had to pay 30 cents if I wanted a new one. And proceeded to tell me that it WASN'T burnt, and that's how they make it. Lmao. I told him that it's not how it is at other locations others being moist and flaky deliciousness after which he challenged me like I had no idea what I was talking about. He was very rude, unpleasant and I should have got his name. I will not be coming back.
Ordered 2 -5 piece tender meals. One spicy, one mild. Was told to we had to wait for fresh chicken, not a problem. Got home and first bite was fries. Not fresh but not a meal breaker. Was looking forward to the chicken. Spicy was fresh, no issues. Hubby happily devoured. I *tried* to take a bite of chicken. OMG it was so hard and dried out. I ended up spitting it out. Every single piece was the same or worse. Clearly the mild had been sitting yesterday? It is hard to fathom it was even made today. We picked up early hoping to avoid the mass produced dinner rush product. We picked up on our way through, headed home to Burlington.
I ordered a 2 piece chicken combo, dark meat. They didn't have a thigh but would replace it with 2 legs. Fine. I ordered a chicken nugget combo. That was fine. I ordered a butterfly shrimp combo. Utterly disastrous meal. No fries. Few shrimp and to make it up, they threw in the tails that were suppose to go into the garbage. Today's special. $12 breaded shrimp tails with shell on and ask for fries, don't bother, there will be none. It will only take 5 minutes just to pick it out where ever it is and put it in a box. I was told they would offer the combo free the next time I order food from them. Do it right the first time or don't bother to open your doors
The worst popeys location EVER. Always such terrible quality of food, every single item every single order. We ordered poutine and it is so disgustingly dry
I usually don't rate a place. If it's garbage, that's my own problem. Popeyes is fast food, pretty yum chicken, whatever. At the waterdown location tonight, I had the pleasure of watching my 7 dollar gravy scooped and dished with the mashed potatoes ladle. It's fine i guess. But now my gravy has clumpy pieces of mashed potatoes that I definitely didn't order swimming in it. It's just off-putting. I should have said something when I saw it happening, but I felt bad. I don't know. Do better?
What a waste of money. When I got there their wasn't anyone in the store. But you could tell the only 2 employees that were working were busy with online orders. The guy who was running the front didn't even acknowledge me for 5 minutes. I finally had to ask if I could place an order Once I got my food and fountain drink I left and went home. The drink was 100% garbage. Obviously the machine had run out of most of the syrup so it was gross "pop" water. Then when I opened my food which was supposed to be a 3 piece combo that's what I paid for only had 2 pieces of dry chicken in it. Obviously been sitting in the warmer for a while. And I ordered an extra biscuit which was missing. I'm not driving all the way back there. But seriously. It's not rocket science. You want fried chicken. Just drive down the street to hello iris. I won't be back to this popeyes location. It's a complete joke.
Either im bored with their chickens or their chicken taste different now. Not a good 1. Like smelly taste. Update July 20 2022: Ordered Large fries they gave me about 2/3 of a box. See picture. Other locations would fill the box you cant even close the box properly. Lol. Chicken taste good that day tho.
Worst Popeyes ever see around GTA area. Go to anywhere else but here. No customer service and all the people working there just wants to slack off at work. Food was just about as worse as their service, so way below average to say the least. So DON’T GO. Better places than these exist.
Good chicken. However, I ordered spicy but it did feel like I got spicy even though I waited for over 10 mins. I've had popeyes spicy chicken before and it's always a hit or miss!Food: 3/5
Ordered 10 Ghost pepper wings, they were made fresh as i waited 15 minutes to cook. Wings smelled different like rotten meat mixed with fried in the same oil they fry shrimps in. It tasted rotten which got worse as it got colder. I think they are not maintaining the cold chain. I ate Popeyes chicken before which smelled like fried shrimps but rotten chicken was the first time. Advising Frequent inspection of this side to keep Popeyes legacy.
