Disappointed with the entire dining experience. Service was ok. Food was marginal. Was shocked to see the cook in the back working without a hairnet or hat, everyone else had a hat or visor on. The music was horrible. Felt as though I was in a Moroccan resturant with the pan flute or strings and constant drum beat. The worst was the female employee constantly yelling during my entire visit. Won't be back.
Worst Popeyes ever. Don’t come here they don’t give you full side. Everyone is coughing in kitchen. When order just check kitchen they don’t put mask or cover their mouth when they cough!!! Disease
I had terrible experience with the service i never come back to this place I ordered chicken tenders online and I got just little pieces of flour without chicken inside.Food: 1/5
Extra fast with hot chicken and non burnt biscuits. But this time their red beans and rice had a very vinegar or salty taste to them like the red bean mix got doubled on an ingredient. Still edible tho, but very vinegar like to every scoop. So it's still a 4 star til I get free chicken & extra buttery biscuits!Food: 3/5
I normally go to the Popeyes in Bloomingdale because their food is always fresh and tasty. Today , I decided to try this location because it’s closer to my residence and I didn’t feel like driving the extra 10 minutes to the one in Bloomingdale. Big mistake!!! Not only could I not understand the person in the drive thru taking my order but the chicken was the driest chicken I have ever had ANYWHERE. I ordered 2 spicy tender combos and these tenders could not have been prepared today. They were at least a couple of days old. My son almost choked on a piece as he tried to eat it. I immediately tried to call the location to demand my money back but I get a message stating “ This number cannot be reached at this time” Never again ! If you’re from this area , I suggest you go to the location in Bloomingdale. This location on North Ave. should be shut down for serving old food.
I was a little disappointed because I stop by and the dining room was totally closed it appears to be because of covid-19 but I really hope it opens back up soon. And also I hope you have a fountain drink machine with free refills because then I'll be a regular customer. I love your chicken and I think it's delicious so hopefully that's not too much to ask and I'll see you soon. Update: I passed by today and I saw that the dining room was open, that's awesome
I've ordered at this place a few times and their chicken has a different taste. It doesn't taste exactly like Popeyes...like the chicken quality is off and the seasoning is altered. Something about the taste is off. Also, the chicken has a frozen chicken taste to it.... like the chicken was frozen solid at one point and thawed out. 1 other person complained about a "rancid" taste and I can also confirm that a ton of their side dishes like the beans have a subtle rancid taste.... Overall, their food has a freshness issue....This is the first Popeyes location that the food tastes a few days old, frozen, or rancid.... Overall, the food feels off......The taste and quality is off....
Went through the drive-thru and you can barely hear the person on the other end. I asked the cashier to repeat the order and it was correct but when I got home, the 8pc family meal consisted a large side with 4 biscuits. The mash is NOT a large and didn’t get the fries. Tried giving them a 2nd chance because they’re in the neighborhood. Looks like I’ll continue to go to the one in Addison instead.
This place definitely needs extensive training. The lady on the speaker was polite, the guys were awful. I am sorry to say they were not courteous and lack basic customer service. I do not know if the franchisor knows about this!! More etiquette and more politeness is needed by the men there. Why should anyone come to a location where acceptable communication skills does not exist??!
Not only was the chicken fresh but the Cole slaw was damn amazing. Restaurant was clean and so was the restrooms!!! Great customer service!!!Recommended dishesChicken Combo 3 pcs
