Popeyes Louisiana Chicken

Had to try that famous Popeye's Chicken after seeing and hearing about all the hype. After all these years, turns out the hype was real. Firstly, I was able to buy 3 spicy chicken tenders, Cajun fries and a biscuit for only $15. You get two sauces with 3 tenders and the 2 Ranch sauces buttermilk/blackened were perfect. The chicken was the crispiest, crunchiest and tastiest chicken I'd ever tasted. Juicy inside yet crunchy with enough spice to leave a kick in your mouth once you're done eating. The cajun fries were well seasoned and went well with mayo. The biscuit was delicious and soft – I wish I ordered more than one! I'll definitely return as soon as I have the chance. I went inside to order takeout and the 15 minutes wait for the food was well worth it. Parking: There's parking spots on location or you can park on nearby side streets.

My son and I came to Moncton for the day and I had decided to take him there to to try it out. I got the 3 piece Chicken Tender meal with the spicy fries, my son got the Original Chicken sandwich meal and my In-laws each got the Original Chicken Sandwich meal as well. We were all very impressed! Food was great, chicken was very tender and fries were yummy. The staff was very friendly and service was fast even though it was Saturday at 12:20!! We ordered inside the restaurant but took it out. We even had a great chat with the young lad who was washing the floor. All in all, it was a great experience and we will be back.

Second customer of the day inside, not drive thru. Clean restaurant inside, both staff I dealt with were friendly and efficient. Ordered a family meal with bone-in chicken, Cajun potatoes with gravy, Cajun French fries and the biscuits, of course. Also ordered both regular chicken sandwiches and the blackened chicken sandwich. On the drive home, my son and I ate the blackened chicken sandwich - well, he ate it and I had one bite while stopped at a traffic light. Delicious! My bite had a nice bit of pickle, and I gotta say, those pickles are crazy good - really set off the spices in the sandwich. My son said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s had. At home, we tried the regular chicken sandwiches and they were excellent - better than Mary Brown’s, better than KFC that we stopped going to a couple years ago. Again, great chicken breasts, fantastic pickles and the bun - WTH is that - tastes so deliciously buttery. 5/5 on the chicken sandwiches. If we go again, that’s what we’re getting. Fried chicken was okay. Got a mix of regular and spicy and the spicy was better but not a lot of flavor in the regular. And not as crispy and flaky as I was hoping for. And, hate to sound like a pig, but the pieces were small - my favorite piece is the leg and the two we got looked like game hen’s legs. And because they were so small, the were over cooked and dry. No, wouldn’t get their bone-in chicken again. Mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy were okay, just not my thing. Cajun French fries were good when hot. Family was torn on the biscuits - half liked their crispy edges and their fluffy interior, half thought they were just okay. I’d order those again, maybe in a meal with tenders. Overall, though, EXCELLENT chicken sandwiches. And definitely go as soon as the doors open. Second customer of the day inside was still a fifteen minute wait. By the time we left, they probably had twenty more customers who had already ordered and five standing in line at the counter. And anyone complaining about waiting in the drive thru: you do understand that the drive thru is their priority for giving you a speedy meal? While inside, I watched cars quickly moving in the drive thru, getting meals faster then they were being put out inside. Oh no, I had to wait for fresh cooked food. But Mommy said I was always #1!

Tried Popeye's for the first time and was not disappointed! Had their Chicken Sandwich and their Cajun Poutine, both out of this world! Not your every day takaway, definitely a treat. Service was also very friendly, and the wait for our food was fairly quick!Food: 5/5

Outrageous price for quantity you get. Been too the one in Halifax. Multiple ones in alberta. A few in Ontario. Worst portions ever. 3 small pieces of chicken smaller than KFC fries and smallest portion of mashed potatoes ive ever seen at a popeyes. Super disappointed for 19 bucks. No plans on returning too moncton popeyes. And horrible restaurant parking lot layout.

Order a chicken sandwich, excellent choice. Totally satisfied and the fries were delicious thanks. Service was great but overly crowdedFood: 4/5

“I was so impressed with my lunch today! I tried spice chicken sandwich and strawberry pie, and both were amazing and delicious. finished my whole food and were so impressed with the quality of the food. It was really worth waiting for food, staff was very polite and friendly, i met with the manager Sahil i was amazed to see how he was handling the customer even if it was super busy . I will definitely be back!”

Ordered takeout, it was very busy inside, and the drive-thru. Food was ready sooner than I thought. Staff were very friendly. The chicken was very good, although Saltier than anticipated. Fries could have been fresher. Overall, well worth a second visit.Food: 4/5

Love that Chicken from Popeyes, we have been to other restaurants for chicken dinners, but their chicken is awesome,nice and crispy, hot, just right, would recommend to anyone with a good feeling. Appreciate to Manager of Popeyes Mr. Sahil he is very friendly. I am so very thankful for your time.

Finally got there today without a huge line and loved it. We ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich meal & 2-10 piece family sets with 4 sides and 10 buscuits. Mac and cheese, fries, biscuits, and mashed potatoes were a huge hit. We do not recommend the onion rings. We typically love onion rings but not these. Next time our 4th side will be gravy. We did 10 mild and 10 spicy chicken. 2 of us enjoyed the spicy while 3 found it too hot so if you're not a fan of spice maybe stick to the mild. We will be back. Definitely recommend. Staff were super friendly. My daughter also got strawberry cheesecake pie? And she really enjoyed it too.
