Best burger and fries hands down. Seasonal so have to get it before fall. Makes any trip to Thompson worth it.
Okay. I'm a guy that has had more than a few burgers in my day, and this very well could be the best I've had. The staff is courteous and friendly despite working in 37°C weather with no AC. The portions are huge, the burgers are amazing, the drinks are icy cold, the views are beautiful. I cant say enough about this place! My wife and I drove up from Winnipeg, and next time we come back up north, Popeyes is an absolute rest stop! P.s. I got the Wimpy burger and small fries and a 7up, 10/10, would recommend, and will be back.
Super good burgers and fries. Too bad it’s a seasonal restaurant. Definitely worth stopping to tank up.
This is a must everytime I am in Thompson. Takes me back to my youth everytime. Hasn't changed ever. Why would it. It's perfection.
Popeyes is the best drive inn burger place in northern Manitoba. From May long till it’s starts to get cold. Popeyes is a one off a kind place great staff awesome food!! Ice cream and a small place for the kids to play located just on the other side of the miles hart bridge, perched a top of the burntwood river.

Saw many raves on Smalltown Manitoba Drive -Inns on Facebook so I had to try it for myself. Had a Popeye burger with fries. The best burger and fries I have ever had. 5 STARS
Not worth the hype. Fries are ok but cost just as much as the burger!!! Fun atmosphere though
