Healthy. Inexpensive. Delicious. What more could you want? Seriously, this is my go to place for good reason. Cannot recommend enough. That being said, I have had a bad experience here where the salmon was tough and chewy. If that happens, get your money back. But it is well worth the risk. The Ice cream rolls are really awesome too! I'd suggest one of the flavors they use real fruit for. Oh, and don't expect to sit in here. I mean, there is seating, but the vibe is just not there. It's not untypical for the chef to be on a phone call having a heated conversation in Chinese.
Preferred through Uber eats. It wasn’t bad. I was a lil disappointed they didn’t have “cabbage” As an option but was pretty good considering other sushi places I’ve tried in spokane. Definitely better than those places. Unfortunately, “Washington “ doesn’t seem to understand how “paper/cardboard affects the “flavor” of food. With that being said, my excuse with “pokeworks” in Cda Idaho has impressed me more. Sorry
I am so in love with this local poke spot! The food is absolutely delicious, I would go here more often if it wasn't out of the way of my regular commute. But when I get that craving it doesn't matter where I'm at, I will drive here to get poke! The service has been consistently quick and friendly, it's usually nice and quiet in here, I docked off one star because it is too dark, I would like if they had more lighting. I do like that the bowls and utensils are environmentally friendly. Overall this is my comfort food comfort spot.
They prepared their food nicely. No complaints on it. But service was terrible. They acted as if me ordering a poke bowl at 2:15 PM was offensive. To be a place that serves one food dish during one set of hours and then ice cream later in the day is cool. But if ordering a poke bowl is inconvenient to the staff, there should at least be a verbal note and/or a sign that says "poke is served until x time." I'm still coming back, no damage is done. But 5 stars for food, no stars for service, 3 stars for atmosphere, and absolutely no complaints on two precious visits warrant 3 stars today.
I'm typing this as I eat! My salmon bowl is so good as always but I decided it was time to leave a review because the sweet gal in the piggy tails was so kind and let me take my time choosing toppings even as 3 separate people came in. I felt pressure to hurry up but she took her time with me and said thank you as I paid and as I walked out the door. Great food great service! :
My favorite restaurant because I get to pick what I like. The food is so good! My husband eats a standard diet and I eat keto. It's nice to both eat good food on our eating plans. Try this place!Food: 5/5
I hate to leave a negative review since I'm so glad the Valley has a poke place, but I've been here twice now with major disappointment each time. The first time I was met by the employee with a lot of irritation just for coming in. The store was empty in the middle of the day and it looked like she was trying to get homework done. Totally cool with people fitting in homework where they can, but don't make me the bad guy for coming in during normal business hours. The second time I came in they were either severely understaffed, or ill prepared for the lunch hour. There weren't that many people in line, but the staff was completely frantic, didn't have some things prepared, the rice was cold and undercooked, I felt rushed and picked sides without thinking them through and ended up with the worst poke bowl I've ever had. Pretty bummed about these experiences and will mostly likely not be back at this point.
Very accommodating for our surprise birthday party, great ice cream...
Food is FANTASTIC. Owner is rude and SO gross! Hacks phlegm out of his throat while loudly speaking in Chinese to people on the phone all WHILE SERVING YOU and asking questions in between his conversation on the phone. I never even know when he's talking to me. Other times there has been a 10 year old boy serving. Child labor?? Lol But if you can brave the bad service and awkward silence between his phone conversations, you'll get some seriously great poke
Poke Express is simply divine... Poke Express Is tucked into a strip mall on pines & mission. I give it 5 stars because, it is not just amazingly fresh they make the ice cream right in front of you, which is fun for the kids. As well as abiding by all state regulations. In my opinion it's the best ice cream in the Spokane Valley.
