Outstanding zoo and aquarium location in the city of tacoma. My two year old son enjoyed his time in the Zoo and the aquarium. This is a must visit location for all greater seattle area residents looking for a zoo visit. The zoo is big but built in such a way that walking around is real easy. They have animals shows every day at 1230 in the central park/theater to educate kids about animals and exotic species that live in the state of WA. I would easily budget 3-4 hours to go around the zoo and aquarium.

Visited here with my 4 year old while on vacation. She had a fantastic time and the combo zoo and aquarium allowed her to have a great variety of experiences. Definitely buy your tickets online to save a few dollars. We went on a Sunday and alot of the food vendors were closed so bring snacks for little ones just in case. Overall a great experience in a beautiful location.

We went to the zoolight night's so not a lot of animals were out. The lights are pretty. My kids had a good time. Camel rides are over priced. It's not a very big zoo but it was nice

It's tough to taste a zoo because I dislike the concept but it is pry will put together. Done of the enclosures seem really small considering the habitat but in general the areas seemed clean. They have an excellent exhibit on garbage in the ocean that was very powerful. Am amazing amount of trash was turned into several art pieces throughout the zoo. They have multiple places to eat or snack. Several areas to rest, and multiple rides. The information provided about the dangers to animals is very valuable. Parking is easy with lots of space and they are a transit destination.

Zoo Lights Christmas theme. Very awesome. Great place for the family. Did a very great display overall.
