The pocket sushi from here were delicious! These pockets are made with rice & quinoa, marinated bean curd, and has many topping options. We chose to take our cute little pockets on a picnic near the Inglewood bridge. Even with the long travel, they still tasted amazing! I recommend trying out the chopped salmon, beef bulgogi and poke tuna, they were definitely the favourites.
I ordered delivery for this place to try their menu and everything was quite delicious. Although there’s a lot of rice in each of the tofu pockets, I dug out half of the rice and it was the perfect portion size for me. My favourite item was definitely the seaweed salad as it was the perfect flavour. The creamy udon was decent, although super heavy. Overall, I would go back again.
Wow! The pocket sushi was absolutely delicious! I tried 3 kinds, Sweet chili shrimp, spicy tuna and spicy California. All 3 were amazing with great flavour. The staff were super friendly! I will definitely be coming back here regularly.
Went here on a whim and will be back very soon. Everything was exceptionally delicious and the service was excellent and courteous. I ordered a sushi roll and 2 of the pockets creamy avocado and shrimp tempura and next time I’m just going to order ALL the pockets. They are amazing and the prices are fantastic. Highly recommended.
Pocket holic has become my favourite after school place to go to. I always come here after lecture or with friends and it always hits the spot ₍ᐢ. ̫.ᐢ₎. My favourite is the 3 pocket combo with the miso soup and salad!! I find that the quality of the fish and the rice is very good and the service has always been so kind when I visit <3 lov u pocket holic…ପ๑•ᴗ•๑ଓ
Their pocket sushi is awesome! It’s decent price for quality of food! I really enjoyed bulgogi & spicy salmon! Definitely would go back there and have it again!
An amazing little spot for a great meal. From the amazing artwork for the logo and the menus, to the great and friendly service, you won't regret your visit. Brought the whole family for lunch over the weekend after my wife saw this establishment on Instagram. The main item here are the pocket Sushi, which are made of rice, toppings and wrapped in Inari, which is a slightly sweet tofu skin. They resemble a cut open burrito, and the variety is fresh and wide. There are pocket Sushi with and without seafood, raw and cooked, a lot of combinations to choose from! They also serve Udon prepared in a number of different ways as well. From pasta style to traditional soup udons, all of the ones we ordered were delicious. There are also Asian snacks and drinks that are not as widely available at most stores for purchase. The dining area is small, so big groups may need to split up, but the decor is cute, clean and very well kept. The facilities are well stocked and clean as well. I would say the only thing is the noise level as there is a boxing gym on the lower level and you can hear work out music. Parking is plentiful, lots of spots on the street or at nearby lots. It's also a nice place to walk to as the area is quite charming. Overall a very fun and delicious place to bring the family!
I ordered 5 pockets to try. Turn out it is so good. The seafood is still fresh after I take home. Extremely friendly staffs, super good food. My family loves it. We will definitely come back soon.
My sister brought me into Pocket Holic because she has long wanted to try their sushi pockets, which I never understood the texture and taste of the bean curd wrap. Seeing that this is such a niche market and that they also offer udon and poke bowls, and seem to do it super well, they definitely deserve all the stars. I’m still not a fan of the pocket wrap itself, but the ingredients and stuffings of these lil guys are delicious, well priced and definitely worth a try. The location is also awesome with a famous candy store right across the street and the river and other bars and cool restaurants a block away.
Love the Inari Sushi [Pocket Sushi] here. Each variety we tried were all fantastic. The food tastes fresh and they had a great variety. They have a small amount of seating inside. The service was kind, accommodating, and friendly.
