Story

We're a cozy cafe serving some of the freshest coffee in Northern Ontario and decadent treats baked on site! We also sell a variety of geek merchandise, as well as board games and card games.

Our coffee comes from an award winning direct trade micro-roaster, Propeller Coffee Co. They care deeply about the people they work with and the community they live in. The experienced and knowledgeable farmers who supply their beans earn more money and enjoy better working conditions, and also produce some of the highest quality specialty beans. Once they get the beans back to their roastery, they then dedicate a tremendous amount of time and energy to making sure every batch of coffee they roast meets or exceeds the standards they're looking for. Once roasted, they pack and ship their beans directly to us, making sure we receive the freshest product possible!

To match the high quality of our coffee, we offer one-of-a kind tea blends by Toronto based company Pluck Teas. They source premium tea leaves from Ethical Tea Partnership sources from around the world, then blend in unique local ingredients in small batches. Their passion for exceptional quality while committed to social and environmental stewardship has produced some of the finest teas we’ve ever had.

As a compliment to our expertly made drinks by our trained Barista, all of our baked goods are made by our Pastry Chef. Try one her specialty cheesecake cupcakes, which comes in a variety of flavours. Our selection constantly changes with the seasons, and special orders for cakes or dessert tables are welcomed!

Our passion for quality also extends to the retail items we offer. Our extensive boardgame collection includes titles from award winning companies like Days of Wonder and Z-Man Games, and we just started offering Magic: The Gathering cards and accessories. We also carry Funko Pop figures, geek apparel and merchandise.
