Cant say enough about our experience dealing with Pleasantview after the recent passing of my father. We were treated with extreme compassion and professionalism. The staff were wonderful and helped us each step of the way, answering all questions; all our concerns and made this difficult process a much easier experience. The service provided was beautiful and the celebration of life turned out to be a lovely event held in the beautiful facilities right there at Pleasantview. Our guests that attended were so impressed with the beautiful accommodations as well and we as a family would recommend Pleasantview to anyone that is dealing with the passing of their loved ones.

I had 2 heavy hitting losses within 2 months of each other, and met with Rachel both times—I asked for her specifically! Words cannot express how grateful I was to have such a caring and supportive soul help me through these difficult arrangements. I was able to say goodbye to my angels as well as pick out commemorative pieces for myself and my family for their memory to live on. Pleasantview made planning effortless and stress free. Recently had a funeral here for my grandma. Everything was amazing, everyone was caring and considerate and there was so much effort made in making our service special! I would highly recommend this place. The gentleman that held our service was also amazing and helped bring some light into our darkness.

An update from my last review. I attended a funeral here on Saturday December 10th. The staff at Pleasantview were very respectful and showed a tremendous amount of compassion. I would like to give a special thank you to Barb. Pleasantview is very fortunate to have an employee like you. Thank you. My wife and I have been to Pleasantview funeral home and cemetery two times to pre plan our final arrangements. Our experience there has been nothing short of exceptional. Our pre planner Maria DiPalo-Alexander was helpful,  informative and compassionate. She made a stressful experience, easy and comfortable. Maria was also very accommodating when we had decided to change certain arrangements we had already made. We never felt rushed, and she took plenty of time to listen and understand our needs. She was personable, friendly, and had a great sense of humour. I would highly recommended her for your final arrangements. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and there were plenty of options for us to choose from.

Last fall when my mother passed my father met with Nicole Milkovich. I was grief stricken and sat in silence for the majority of the meeting. Her sympathy or lack thereof felt forced/fake and rehearsed. She was very cold, and pushy. At the end, she told us we would be getting a survey and she asked for the highest score, if you provide excellent service you shouldn't have to ask for a score. She then pressed by dad for a google review and called him again later to remind him about it. I recently found out to my dismay she is now manager there and am very disappointed we didn't chose another resting place. This experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth for a beautiful place.

I have been visiting Pleasantview Cemetery since 1959. The grounds have always been well cared for, with beautiful gardens and comforting to visit in all seasons. I had concerns this month about a headstone. Teide Zimmermann, was most understanding, efficient and solved the problem within days. My family and I would like to express our gratitude for the professional yet sensitive experience in the planning of my husband's funeral service. From the beautiful venue to the explanation of details but most of all to the caring eyes of all we were involved with will never be forgotten. Went to visit our loved ones on Friday October 29, 2021 and was horrified to see that the grounds keepers totally destroyed the area we were visiting, I mean tire tracks all over place. I called to lodge a complaint and the guy apologized, he also said they would put a formal apology on the post I made on Facebook and tagged them…instead, They removed the tag and no apology…this is absolutely unacceptable and the repairing of the affected area must be done… shame on pleasantview…

I would recommend pleasent view cemetery services to all andrea, maria ,gerry ,brenda, and rachel were all so helpfull to me in arranging my mothers funeral i was a mess during this difficult time rachel went above and beyond and i felt she was part of my family if i could i would give 100 stars ty to all ive named from bottom of my heart for making my mothers funeral beautiful ty !!!!!!

The people here at Pleasantview were absolutely amazing to my family when we went through a recent loss. A beautiful facility, beautiful cemetery, and an amazing reception hall. I am thankful for them and the services they offer to Niagara.
