Plaza Morena Restaurant

Use to get great service and great food. The last few times we went in the service has become neglectful and down right rude. The food has gone down hill as well. They have little to nothing gluten free friendly and server had such a rude response when asked! The server constantly walked away when we were talking to her about food. So we didn't get to order desert. We paid then realized we were charged for at least one extra drink. My son at one time loved coming to Plaza. Now we have agreed we will eat else where!

I love eating here. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Albert Lea. The food and service is very good every time I eat here. My favorite thing to get is the super fajita burrito. The salsa is also amazing!

Very disappointing. Hard shell corn tacos are NOT authentic Mexican. Food was not good at all. We are from out of town so I'm guessing all the good reviews are from the locals who never had real Mexican food. I'm also guessing Plaza Morena is sticking to a menu to make the locals happy. If I'm back in town I definitely won't be coming back. Chips and salsa were disappointing too.

I have some dietary restrictions and the Owatonna location is always very accommodating. Today I went to the Albert Lea location and for the 3rd time they still ignored my request and put cheese on my meal. After waiting for a new plate I recieved my bill and saw they still charged me full price. I spoke to the general manager, saying I don't think it's really fair for me to pay full price for the meal since it had to be remade. He stated that next time I come in he just wont make it for me. I was very disappointed with his slightly rude response.
