Trumble's Restaurant

For a Southerner, this is what I consider good Midwestern food. After stepping off the airplane, this is the first place I go to on my way into Iowa. Pork tenderloin sandwich? Huge and tender, served with a smile. I had my first rhubarb pie at this place and it was Fabulous! Great service. Love watching the pies turn in the lobby.

Quiet place for a family meal. Service was great. Staff were very friendly. We were expecting a fancier dining experience but it is more like eating at my grandma’s house without the odd smell. I wasn’t super impressed with the food quality compared to say Perkins nearby. Gotta say the tator tots were yummy. Hours are confusing as they change in the winter and aren’t posted anywhere. They do offer Bridgemans ice cream which is hard to find and always a treat.

Fabulous first time! Would definitely recommend. Home cooked meals, ALL YOU CAN EAT fish on Fridays!!! Quiet and casual atmosphere. Home made desserts in the pie case, so save room for dessert!

I had what the waitress called Minnesota comfort food. Roast beef dinner, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, dinner roll, and Wisconsin cheese soup. It was delicious !!

We would definitely eat here again! Super fast service, which was great since we are on a 12 hour road trip and just passing through. I wish we had had room left for dessert as they looked amazing! Kind of like a mom and pop Perkins. We had the hot beef sandwich and the quesadilla burger. The hot beef sandwich had absolutely no fat on it and literally melted in your mouth! Super good!
