Went in the fitting room with 6 items ended up liking only 2 so I go to the cash register to pay for what I picked and the cashier starts helping me checkout then goes in the fitting room acting really sus, it’s like she went to count the items I left in the fitting room before helping me checkout like am going to steal $11 used clothes. If you’re a thief yourself or have been stealing clothes don’t project that unto customers based off of nothing. Having worked in real clothing stores myself I’ve never treated customers so poorly .
when i originally got my stuff back i had no complaints. they took a bin full and gave me $103 which i thought was mostly fair. what i didn’t realize until i got home was that my backpack of stuff hadn’t been looked through at all. things were still folded the exact same way in the same order as when i had brought it in. the stuff in the backpack was probably the best stuff i was bringing in which is why im quite disappointed. it was full and i could really use that extra money. i’m not from ottawa, i travelled a couple hours to sell my clothes so its not easily accessible for me to come back and selling clothes online is not the easiest. the staff was super nice and friendly tho.
I brought a few bags in today, no luck at selling winter clothes today haha but the store was lovely! I didn't even know this place existed, so much fun teen and adult accessories and all the popular brands teens are wearing lately, I highly recommend.
Really great selection of clothes! Personally I liked it better than Merivale location because it’s smaller and less overwhelming, yet their selection is on point!!!! Employees were very attentive and helpful! Really loved shopping there! Definitely my new favourite Plato’s location and second hand store in Ottawa!
Great thrift shop, pricing was very fair and the store was very clean night and day compared to value village Staff were very friendly; we were greeted upon entry, checked on and even had a friendly chat while paying at the register. Thank you for the experience and for the change-rooms, will return for more.
