I had a great experience w Sam at Plato’s! She has excellent customer service. Ive sold and bought items here, n she’s the only one who clearly explained y some of my branded items couldn’t be purchased. I really appreciated how patient n helpful she was, especially when I had questions abt d current store promotions.

Whenever I come in the ladies at the check out/drop off are never friendly, or welcoming and they always just seem like they’re trying to rush you in and out. Yes it is busy and there is a lot going but it is still a business and you still want to feel welcome in a shop like this. Just disappointed as this has been consistent since the first time I came in. I think this will be my last time at this location.
Honestly, I have no idea what this location is actually looking for. No matter the season, they somehow always pick the most unexpected item from everything I bring in, usually the worst no-brand piece, while rejecting almost everything elseincluding like-new Skechers boots, UGG winter boots, an Adidas backpack, and barely worn Lululemon sports bras. When I used to go to Plato’s Closet locations in Toronto, they would take around 60% of my items on average; this location takes maybe 1%. I’m not even expecting much money, I’m fine with $2 or $3 per item just to cover a meal before donating the rest, but waiting nearly an hour to be offered $2 total is a complete waste of time. I could easily sell brand new branded shoes for $10 on Facebook Marketplace without the wait. I won’t be coming back.
Well that was weird.nI went in with 3 boxes and 2 bags of clothes, all high end, brand name. Silver jeans, guess jeans, Lululemon, many sports brands of hiking clothes, jean shorts, running shirtsnThey wanted only 4 items, 3 with tags - one Lululemon pants with a 98 dollar tag still on! offered 20 dollars for all 4 new items!nWhen I walked around the store I thought for sure they would want a lot of my items as they were way nicer than most of the stuff on the racks- especially the jeans. Apparently not.nnWon't be going back. I don't think they even looked at most stuff as they only took about 15 minutes with so many items.nLeft with all my items.nNot selling brand new with tags 100 pants for 5$
