Placentia Public Library

The Placentia Public Library is a nice public library with a friendly staff. My youngest son likes the play area, especially the grocery store, fire station, and diner. He also loves going through the children's section to pick out books for me to read to him. One time, I took him to storytime on a Thursday, and he had a good time. The staff member read some stories, sang some songs, and had stickers for the kids at the end. Overall, it's a good library to take the family to.

It's a very good place to play for little children. But sometimes they are TOO loud. They scream and stomp their feet on the couches and run all over the places but some parents aren't holding back their kids at all I'm also a mom of four kids and do understand how they behave. The parents seem to think it's a playground, not a library. That is the only reason I don't want to go there. The children's section should be for all ages, not only for toddlers or preschoolers. But there's no doubt about nice staffs, lots of children's books, and clean library all the time.

The placentia library is a great resource for the community. You can get your passport done here as well! The space is nice, but it is also quite popular at times, so could be hard to find a table to study. I've made copies here, faxed things, and much more. This particular library is my favorite. The staff are very friendly and I love the variety of activities that they have. The Library of Things allows you to check out items you would not normally find in a library.

Remodeling a few years back came out nice! Large children section. Great for little ones.

2 TIRES OF MY CAR SLASHED IN THE PARKING LOT!, unfortunately the cameras around the building do not work and are a false sense of security; cars in the parking lot are vulnerable to vandalism and police dept in the same office building complex can't do anything about it because it is a very minor crime​​​​ but it cost me $200 to replace the 2 slashed tires of my car and the library staff will not help they just look out for themselves, also there are a lot of questionable persons hanging around the library just a warning to everybody visiting the library.

Lovely little library with very helpful staff. Went on a Saturday morning and they had story time and a craft for children. It was really special. Getting membership cards was a breeze and my children had a blast.
