Nice pizza joint if you are looking for something not a chain. Fast friendly service, but the pizza itself is good but I wouldn’t say it is anything special. Good crust, well topped and good amount of sauce however nothing really stands out and at $6+ after taxes for once slice of pepperoni it feels a little bit overpriced for what you get. The slice is relatively small when compared to a slice at other pizza places at that price point, not a good combination.
Came to this little hole in the wall buried in a residential area on a nice Thursday evening. I was pleasantly surprised to find that 2 hours before closing they were still putting fresh pizzas in their display. So I had to try 1 of each. I ordered the mushroom ricotta, vodka which is an absolute must, Marg, pepperoni and 1 with just sauce. This might be the best “by the slice” experience I’ve ever had. The dough was nice and airy almost felt like a cross breed between a New York slice with some resemblance of Neapolitan style pizza. I will certainly be back as I enjoyed the pizza.
Unquestionably the best "by the slice" spot I've had in the city! Dough is BEAUTIFULLY light and crisp with still enough integrity to hold and the toppings. The pies are explosions of flavour without the grease. ONO pizza can learn a thing or two from this place. I just wish I lived closer.
Ordered: vodka pizza and garlic dip The pizza crust was crispy, a little thicker than your standard Neapolitan pizza, and had an almost sweet flavour to it. Sauce and toppings contained a lot of flavour. Typically vodka sauce is a bit too sweet and rich for me, but found that this was not the case at Pizzeria Badiali. I’d skip the dip if you’re expecting pizza pizza type creamy garlic dip. The dip is homemade and is much more watery. Price is a bit steeper than the surrounding pizza spots. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re touring your way through the pizza places in Toronto like I have been.
Good pizza with friendly staff. They're generous with the pepperoni which is nice to see. It would be nice if they made the tomato sauce stronger, it has no taste. The other change would be more cheese and a stronger tasting cheese. The only thing you can taste on the pizza is the salt from the pepperoni and the bread.
I, without a doubt, can say that this place has the best pizza in Toronto. Even though very busy the service was really fast. The pizza was so fresh and really hot. We most definitely will be going back regularly. Even though it is a bit of a drive, it is so so worth it. Also...the green dip is AMAZING , I need a vat of that piece of heaven.
Been eating since July 2021....just after they opened. Even as they have grown in popularity and the lines can get crazy long. The service has been good and they remember the regulars which is nice. Making good NYC style pizza ain't easy in the West end.Food: 4/5
Looking for New York style pizza in Toronto, we’ll you’ve found the right spot! The slices are the perfect size, the ingredients are distributed generously and the pizza is just down right delicious! I warn you, a slice will turn into a full pie and there’s no shame in that! Make sure you add on one of their dips to really get the full experience!
If you’re looking for the best pizza in Toronto then look no further… you’ve found it. Badiali does it best! The vibe of the restaurant is stellar and gives off a rustic/hometown feel situated in a quaint neighbourhood. The pizza is next level — the crust, the sauce, the crisp is perfection. I’ve ordered entire pies, but if you’re stopping in alone the slices are phenomenal because they’re super crispy and fresh. Be sure to check them out and order a side of hot honey to dip the crust in. I’m truly a fan for LIFE!
Solid slice of pizza, but not quite a five-star for me. Its places like this that make me wish google had a sliding scale to rate. It's certainly not a 4, probably a 4.5 or 4.6. There was a long queue, but it moved relatively quickly. We got a slice of margarita, vodka, and one with mushrooms. The vodka was the winner of the three. If you're in the area and looking for a solid slice of pizza, it's worth the trip. We will definitely be back, as I wanted to try a plain cheese, but unfortunately, there were no slices of this. Hopefully, that slice gets the 5 stars
