Fabulous place!!! Huge slice of pizza we loved I ordered the hawaian pizza and add the jalapeño peppers and my bf ordered pepperoni pizza at the end they add the garlic oil on top of it and taste amazing. The offer some drinks we got brio that is an italian beverage and they have hot sauce too. Great service !!
Really good pizza with generous portions. Ordered the veggie pizza and they made it according to our specifications. The garlic oil topping at the end was fab! Beware that you could be waiting for almost half an hour on weekend nights as there’s a rush of orders.
King Slice used to be our families go to for a few years. The garlic oil on the crust is tasty and makes it unique. The reason I’m voting 1 star is the last several times I’ve ordered or even gone in for a slice the pizza has been over cooked, actually burnt and completely black underneath making it almost inedible. Sad to have to move on and look for a new spot but something has changed over the last couple months. Don’t know if something happened to the oven or the cooks changed but hope they can rectify the situation before losing more loyal customers.
Very big slices, one might say slices fit for a king... In all seriousness though, the food was great and they have a small selection for flavours. The veggie slices are really good and the crusts ate nice and thin
Ordered their largest pizza. Half and half with my favorite two toppings. Overall not very impressed. The dough was burnt in more than one area but overall taste was above average. I'd order from KS again. Not sure I'd spend $67 for their jumbo but I'd try one of their smaller pizzas and perhaps update my review. The pizza taste was great where it wasn't burnt.
Gathered with family to enjoy King Slice. Important Notifications..... 1. FANTASTIC employees. Made our experience exceptional! They are polite, funny, and respect the customers. 2. Food was delicious made to order, and dynamite salads! 3. Kitchen is open and visible, we could see the dedication and attention to our ordered food. 4. Although our large dinner took up most of the tables, we did not feel rushed! 5. Large front glass gives a great view to busy bloor street. 6. Nice selection of drinks, including sanpeligrino, and brio
I tried this place for the first time on a full stomach and I couldn't stop eating the giant slice. This place is now my favorite pizza place so far. The slices are giant, and the crust size is perfect. The only thing I'd recommend is to have a stronger pizza sauce because you can't really taste it. Other than that this place is amazing and seriously worth the pizza experience.
Abysmal. 7 months ago my friends introduced me to this spot and I genuinely thought it was the best slice of pizza I've had in my life. I was very excited to introduce it to my girlfriend and family today. We got an XL Special King Slice Pizza No tomatos A meatball and cheese sandwich. And a few dipping sauces. I ordered for uber pickup around 4:10 The ETA uber gave me was 4:52. I arrived at the restaurant slightly early around 4:40 just incase it was ready earlier. I arrive and they are not busy at this time, I say my order name and its for uber..they say they never got an order for that. I show them confirmation and they finally see it on their tablet. So my order had not even begun yet. They told me to wait 10-15 minutes. So it's now 4:45, and I waited in the restaurant until 5:15..close to a half hour more than when I originally ordered. I was never issued an apology or any kind of compensation. But hey I got the food and thats all that matters right? The food was some of the worst pizza I've ever had. It was cold, undercooked and remember how I said no tomatos? Haha yeah there were tomatos. The level of care was not there with the toppings, the cheese had barely even melted. It was incredibly unevenly spread toppings so 70% of slices as you picked them up? The toppings fell right off, even with the support of holding the base. It's impressive how bad my experience was today. I should have listened to the recent reviews. I hope they can get things sorted out way better. I don't know if theres new management but if your service is bad AND the food is bad, it makes for a terrible unpleasant experience. I'd avoid right now and maybe a few months down the line I'll give them another chance. I cant pay 28$ for a pizza like that, no way. Ps. That sandwich..I dont even need to describe, thats disgusting, how would anyone reasonably eat that.
This was one of the driest, pizzas I have ever had. The crust of the pizza was so hard, I could barely chew. Pizza was also stale. Was so excited to try cause I had heard great things, and reviews were great. Highly disappointed.
We’ve only recently discovered this Bloor St. W. mainstay, and we’re definitely going to be back often. They serve a generous sized slice, with fresh toppings, a delicious sauce and a well executed, tasty traditional North American-style crust. We’ve had the Deluxe, the Pepperoni and the Arrabiatta and all were really good. As mentioned by almost every other review, definitely get the garlic oil on the crust - so good! Generous portions of very good pizza at a fair price. We’ll be back often.
