Went there knowing this was the highest rated pizza in Laval so the expectations were pretty high... Ordered a Large all dressed. It was 30$ with a pepsi which is very pricy. Right away I noticed the floppyness and the thickness of the slice. Overall It looked like a very average football pizza. Not my type of pizza... On ten I give this a 6.2
I was hesitant to try, despite the great reviews because I'm ridiculously picky about pizza and never get lucky. However I finally, after 13 years have found pizza that made me go WHOA! THIS is what pizza is supposed to taste like!! The cheese, the pepperoni, the sauce and the dough, all amazing and worked perfectly together. And the crust! My god the crust! I, the hater of most pizza crust, ridiculed by family and friends for my refusal to eat it, was blown away. The dough was soft, fluffy, moist, flavorful. And the crust, with that perfect crispiness. Just spot on! And it just perfectly completed the pizza. Perfection! And it was so filling! I had to tap out after 1 slice. But since the XL pizza is a generous size and a very reasonable price FYI we've got left overs! The pizza alone is enough for me to recommend it. But the customer service was also above par. I highly encourage you to call and order directly from them. Great service, free, fast delivery and bonus, you're supporting a local business with 100% of the proceeds going to them and not an exploitative delivery service company that takes 30%. Sorry, no pics of the whole pizza, I didn't know it was going to be so amazing. But I remembered to snap a few halfway through.
Super kind team. The dough is awesome, fresh ingredients and we looooove going there, the overall flavour, product size and price it’s a deal! Wish they could be opening on the West Island soon!
Definetely our go to pizza place when in chomedy, big football pizza with plenty of garnishments, however i noticed lately they dont put as much sauce, we hapd asked extra last friday and their wasnt much even after asking for extra, for that reason only well go to ciel bleu on next pizza order, but still, you cannot go wrong with this place
Great Pizza but like most of nowadays pizzerias, they use the cheaper pizza mozzarella that is a bit tasteless compared to the real old school mozzarella. I'd say this pizza is pretty much as good as San Antonio's pizza also located in Laval but both are on the expensive side. Crust is great but a bit too thick for my taste as others have pointed out in their review. Obviously a choice that reduces the toppings versus crust ratio and reduces their cost but unfortunately also reduces taste. I dearly miss my childhood's memories pizza dripping in fat but I do recognize this is a great version of today's pizza where Saputo is monopolozing the pizzeria industry with it's lower prices and tasteless cheese. I might be wrong about the brand lol So not really the pizzerias fault if they want to make a decent profit without having to sell selling their pizzas for more. Altogether, Much better than the usual cheaper pizzas.
At our house we find this to be the best, most consistently tasty, pizza in town. Their prices are also great and it's always been ready on time.
This pizza will rock your socks off! I’m not one to write a review let alone a 5 star rating but with Il forno pizzeria, I had no other option than to do so. This pizza is not only filling, but delicious. The perfect thickness, the excellent tasting sauce and the nice cheese added cooked to perfection. On the bottom of the pizza it is very crispy like a golden perfect color making it a 11/10. Keep up the great work and friendly service!!
Quality ingredients Marinara sauce and pepperoni on the pizza is delicious. Dough is a little too thick for my liking.
I have a favorite pizza place now!! The pizza was really good. I didn't know about this place, was at another store when my son asked for pizza and I said lets try this place, glad we did. I definitely recommend this place
Well, just tried it first time, and was completely blown away, absolutely fantastic the crust was perfect not drenched in sauce, toppings, perfect, you can definitely tell they use top quality, had to call them and tell them how spectacular there pizza was, a must try in Laval for sure, wow !! Nothing else left to say, except try it.
