Pizza Villa

I drove from Yarmouth to pick up some haddock chowder today. I used to work in Portland and have purchased many things from the menu of Pizza Villa, but the cold rainy day put a craving in my Maine soul for their chowder! With absolute certainty it did not disappoint! The amount of haddock in this chowder makes it a meal! And the flavor is amazing! By the end of my bowl I was stuffed, but I absolutely had to drink the final bit of broth left! Thank you for an amazing lunch Pizza Villa, and for the wonderful consistency of your products! It's been years since I had this chowder and it was just as delicious as I remembered! P.S. The meatballs here are incredible too...they just melt in your mouth! So, while I was there I bought the goods for 2 large subs to bring home and make for supper tonight!

I was just thinking about this spot. Me, My wife and 3 year old Son ate there, while on spring break vacation from Chicago. I genuinely love this joint, reminded me of the neighborhood pizza joints when I was a kid. Good people & great food. I would recommend it.

First time patrons. Got there around 6:00 pm. Sat at a table for 15 minutes and no one came. Asked for a menu and told you order at the bar and listen for your name. Ordered pizza but they said they were out of pizza!! Ordered a sandwich and it took at least 30 minutes. No napkins delivered with the sandwich. The diet Coke was mostly water. Never will go again.

This classic Portland spot always brings back fond memories of spending time with my late dad and having some of the best pizza around. Cozy, warm, inviting, excellent service... I love Pizza Villa!

Love this place! Pizza Villa is a very good pizza/sandwich lunch place that has been here a long time. I am never dissatisfied with portion size and the food is really good. The pizza is unique in it's way, but in a good way. I will always come back for more!

Based strictly on the meatball sub. Been eating here once a week every week for last 2 months not sure if it’s an off day or they changed something. Seems the bread changed and the cheese almost disappeared??? Appeared to be white bread folded over if not mistaken usually bread more robust this one was falling apart. Delicious meat and seasoning. So sad today. We’ll give it another shot next week because it’s a 5 star meatball sub usually. People always friendly and service is great.

Great "locals" place. Stopped in for a drink before a show. Friendly staff. After we went to the show we came back and had a few more late night drinks and some food. The place was busy but service and food were excellent.

Smol pizzas were super good! The service was SO GOOD. its a mom n pop dive bar styled place open till 2am. My only issue, was the extremely limited menu, and pizza options. There are NO non alcoholic noncarbonated beverages.
