Pizza Expresso (NDG)

Good neighborhood spot to grab an inexpensive slice of pizza. I ordered the gyro combo and a slice of pizza. Everything was very tasty and inexpensive which is what you'd expect from a local eatery.

So, my roommate and I ordered from here tonight hoping to catch a deal and to order from a local business. Ordering was a bit of an ordeal; the staff didn't speak French or English. We were given a fixed price for delivery, tax, and tip. When the delivery driver arrived he said the tip wasn't included. We asked him if this was a common complaint, and he said he just worked there and didnt know how this kind of thing worked. Alright. So we forked over $42 for two pizzas, already disappointed. Yes, the pizzas were big, but were they loaded with quality ingredients? Not really. The crust was cardboardy (almost inedible), and the dough itself was so thick we couldn't eat more than two slices each. Keep in mind we were starved! When we called the restaurant to ask about the bill we were told there was nothing they could do. Alright. I guess it's Dominos next time! What a disappointing experience from start to finish.

We ordered 2 for one and the Hawaiian with extra ham. I would honestly recommend just ordering dominoes cuz at least when you order extra with them it actually shows up. The crust is inedible, and the pizza itself is not good. Just buy a frozen pizza. I regret not just ordering dominoes.
