Express Indien

I live close to the restaurant and was so happy when they opened; our family has been customers for years. The best Indian food I've ever had - we have so many favourites - the owner-chef and his wife and his waiter are super friendly - not only are his chicken and lamb dishes to die for so are his vegetarian dishes. I really recommend you give them a try and you'll be back.

Staff was very pleasant and easy to speak to. The food was tasty and of good value. Food was plentiful for the price. Can work on the ambiance a little bit. Staff was really good.

OMG. Express Indian is the best! I know it's not a luxury, white-table cloth establishment or anything, but I say the food is first-class, authentic and amazing. I love it and eat there all the time. I order takeout and it is fast. I stop in for a meal and it is delicious. The best ever!

I ordered food from this restaurant via Just-eat. When I opened the bag the curry bowl's lid was open, all the curry was spilled in the bag and the paper bag was all ripped and mixed up with curry. When I called the restaurant, all they said was "ok I will inform the kitchen". Forget about giving me any money back, they didn't even have the decency to apologize at least. I had to TRASH ALL THE FOOD FOR WHICH I EVEN PAID THE DELIVERY FEE!! Someone did call me back from the restaurant though, balming everything on the delivery guy (I don't understand how it could be delivery guy when I could clearly see that the lid wasn't closed properly and so it spilled) and said that next time they will give "some discount".

Their name doesn't do them justice. They have one of the best Byriani's I have had in Montreal; perfectly balanced flavour and the right amount of heat. Their naan is also outstanding
