Had a friend pick the Fresh Mozzarella pizza for me so I could sample them. Was takeout so not piping hot of course when eaten. For a Neapolitan no top black kisses and the bottom of the pizza was very white. Decent enough flavor and chew but I don't know if I'd go back with what I had.
Pizza Biga is a little dive wood-fire pizzeria attached to Turtle Bread Company in Minneapolis. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a margarita pizza; it was not my favorite but I assume that is because I was expecting it to taste more similar Punch Pizza. The prices are reasonable!
The Ceasar salad was hardly dressed at all and did not contain shaved parmesan. It had the cheap parmesan cheese we call 'Shaky cheese'. The grated kind that is served at the table. As any fyi, Turtle Bread and Pizza Big do not accept American Express.Food: 4/5
Exceptional pizza. Would prefer slightly lower flour content in the dough. The dough-ball size to pizza size is off, and it leaves you with an uneasy feeling afterwards. Toppings ratio is spot on, it’s just that the dough is too dense. That are really close to perfection!
Outstanding wood fired pizza. This is my favorite for classic recipes built with the best ingredients. Pair with a glass of wine in the cozy atmosphere for a perfect friday night.
Both my kids, on separate occasions in the past two weeks both agreed it is their favorite pizza. Cooked in that oven, I would have to agree. Great friendly service always & easy parking.
Yum! The bianca pizza was amazing. Great date night location, with amazing ice cream right next door!
Really good pizza here! I got the sausage pizza which had a good share of cheese and some tasty sausage. The crust blew me away though. Delicious and doughy, one of the best in the city!
Food was very good and served fast. The Restaurant is 3 blocks away from my house so it will definitely be one of my new regular spots.
The pizza here is great and so is the service. The small main space makes for a pleasant ambiance and you can watch your pizza go into the oven!
