We have tried a few other pizza places in Strathmore and haven’t been very impressed. Happy that we changed it up last night and ordered from 249 instead. Yes the price is a little higher then your regular franchise pizza place but way worth the extra $$ for fresh ingredients and good tasting pizza. Very nice family with great customer service. We should all be supporting our local family run businesses. We will definitely order from 249 pizza again.
Pizza 249 recently catered a corporate lunch and learn event in Calgary and received rave reviews from the participants. Comments were overwhelmingly positive and ranged from “outstanding” to “ best pizza I’ve had in years…” Overall the pizza was a perfect complement to the occasion. We appreciate the quality and service and can’t wait until the next delivery.
Worst service! I phoned in an order for "delivery". Somehow they misinterpreted my request for delivery and put it down as a pickup. When I called after over an hour waiting for my order, was told it was put down as a pickup.! Got the pizzas and pizzas were cold, but was told "It is what it is". When I saw my pizzas, wasn't what I had ordered. Terrible service! If there was a zero star, that's what j would give
Doesn’t get any better than Pizza 249! Pizza 249 is THE BEST PIZZA IN STRATHMORE! The crust is almost as good as the toppings, and the wings are real wings, not ones that look like they came from a budgie. The owners are very nice people, and the service has always been outstanding! I can’t recommend this place enough…you gotta try it!
Really good staff, clean, great food ….. i picked up the royal and a hawian …. Cheese was on par , perfect crust, tons of topings…. I would recommend this to family and friends and i will be going back …. Best pizza i have had in Alberta
Ordered a couple pizzas just yesterday, I was taken by surprise by the two young guys working in the back and how polite and friendly they were - I was early but was welcomed with a friendly hello and how can I help you today? Pizza was brought to my car and they even apologized for my wait even though I was early they weren't late. Pizza was fantastic as always. Whoever is training or working with the staff there is doing a fabulous job!!!!!
Heard this was a great place for pizza Ordered first time here 2 medium pizzas price with tax was over priced pizza crust was soggy on both Hawaiian was just okay and cheese lovers was horrible greasy no flavour and soggy crust will not order from here again
Absolutely wonderful pizza. Something i definitely found myself getting as a nice treat. The owners are extremely nice people. Definitely a hardworking bunch. My family with gluten allergies liked their crust. Their hours are a little tricky to work around sometimes but being a small business during covid i completely understand. Great little pizza joint would definitely recommend.
Best pizza in town. Owners are great friendly people with some great advice on pizza selections. Donair pizza with bacon and Sriracha is a must try!
I used to jump around town, from pizza place to pizza place. Whoever had a sale on I ordered from. That was until I discovered Pizza 249. Remember that great 1990s pizza. Thick dough cooked perfectly, toppings that made your mouth water. Actual real foods not loads of over processed pizza chain toppings. This is the place! They have the old school amazing pizza. Get in here & give them a try!!
