Excellent experience. It's situated on a hill and feels like a cozy little den when you go inside. I sat at the bar as I was by myself and my other option was on the patio. Ordered the elk striploin steak salad. It came quickly and was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. Salad was flavorful and balanced. Above all, the bartender Zoe made my visit here very special. She was attentive, friendly, gave great cocktail recommendations, and was genuinely good company. Would recommend going, and would definitely go back if in Nelson again!
A tiny-tiny restaurants with a HUUUGE and Looong ‘attitude’. First, we were assigned a table in between two other tables literally 30 cm elbow to elbow despite all the other tables were empty any NOT reserved. It was quiet Sunday 5 pm. I asked twice “no ice please “, sure enough they brought glasses filled with ice to the top. Food wasn’t that great either— simply tasteless.
Went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning in September. I had the breakfast poutine and the wife had one of the many benedicts on offer. Both outstanding! Very cool spot on a hill, staff very friendly, in a restored brick building. Excited to go ba k and try the dinner menu!
Different flavours and textures but besides that i am OBSESSED!!! Beautiful, flavourful, peaceful. I adore this place! Will be coming back!nWe had honey and goat cheese dip, poutine, fries, salad, backyard burger, chicken sandwich, and vegan mushroom burger. All of it was delicious. Mushroom burger has an odd texture, sort of gummy like dough gluten but the flavour makes up for it. If you have a problem with textures I wouldn’t recommend it.nDecor is BEAUTIFUL I AM OBSESSEDDD!!!!!!!!
This was a very cool little restaurant in the very unique place with an excellent view. The food was quite tasty but unfortunately served cold but that had nothing to do with the kitchen.
