Ordered a beef pita delivered. Arrived Cold, Absolutely disgusting, and next to no meat or fillings listed on the order, Just Spinach and a pound of dressing. Won't be back.
This was my favourite place for lunch. Was. Over the past few months, service has severely declined in this Pita Pit location. What was once fresh veggies, choice of pita and lettuce, and actual measured portions, is now sloppy, sneaky, and gross. I like cheese, and there isn't a place I go to that I don't order extra cheese on something. During one of my last visits to this Pita Pit, I ordered both extra bacon and cheese on my pita and had to badger the young woman 3 or 4 times about the fact that I just paid 5 extra dollars for these extras and she still had not included these extras in the pita. It was as if there were no portions in this restaurant, either that or she was VERY unsure of what a portion was and how the recipes of the pitas went. She could have been new, sure. But this isn't the first time, and this isn't the only issue. In fact, I have held out from writing this review because I keep convincing myself it will be back to great, or even good- the next time I go. From lying on the phone about lettuce available, to breaking the pita almost every single time and beyond...... What is happening here? Obviously prices have gone up, that means the food cost is higher, prices of pitas are higher, and employee wages are higher too. I pay almost 40 dollars for lunch for two people at Pita Pit these days. Should we not expect our food to be made properly? Is this outlandish? Why am I getting less food, with less effort and for more money? Why do I have to oversee the entire making of my pita, lest I get ripped off because portions do not exist anymore here? I cannot stress enough how much I loved this place. Please please train your new employees. Please make an effort for a $20 dollar pita. I want to be your customer again. I really do. I just can't waste any more money.
Went in 950pm, I was greeted, and the worker stood at the till after asking what I would like, while I looked at the menu very briefly. I ordered 2 meals and she decided after hearing my choices to tell me she was closing and could not serve me. It was 954pm when I was turned away. I would not have minded being told "we are closing a bit early" upon walking in, but had I ordered a different wrap I believe she would have made it. I won't return.
I ordered via DoorDash. It was a build your own chicken and bacon for $17. When they delivered it to me it was smaller than a petita size. It was basically a child size -6 years old child. So small For $17 - I can’t believe they thought that was ok- most of the inside of the pita was BREAD. Very Poor quality and unsatisfying - the driver was also waiting over 30mins at pita pit for them to make a pita!? I asked for loaded veggies there were no veggies on it. It was just chicken, bacon, cheese, and sauce when I called them they had no time to talk to me so basically just don’t order from here unless you’re there to watch them make it because they’re extremely cheap and they will try and rip you off. Unacceptable to treat customers like this! Compensate me for this
I asked twice why they had soo much brown lettuce And both times she just smiled at me look down and ignored me. So I went up the road to the next Peta pit on 111th street and they had extremely fresh everything and they made me a great pizza and that's why I suggest everyone else goes as well.
I always come to this pita pit & they are always so wonderful! Tonight, Kudrat made my pita right before closing - which I hate to do but she was so nice!
Run down, unsanitary....... Lots of food is visibly not fresh or on the verge of not being fresh brown salad, crusty dried out mushrooms and olives, visibly dirty sauce spatulas, tomatos you can probably spread they're so desintegrated, the place is very dirty and extremely run down, things don't work menu, washroom was disgusting. The portion size is totally off: large turns out to be the same size as small! Just so disappointing. Pita Pit is usually consistently soooo good..I unfortunately can't go back to this location it's just so unsanitary and gross... The Pita pit franchisor should visit, perhaps even AHS. Person working there had no help and was not provided with a paper menu even though the digital menu wasn't working - it was such an odd experience! I Ltd the second time in a row I've been here and experienced this, I wanted to see if he they would change before I wrote a review... No change - i should have walked out...
Always got Kudrat whenever I'm in and she's super sweet and makes great wraps :Food: 5/5
Meat was only on the grill for 30 seconds and it was still ice cold in our wraps. I use to love this place but it has gone down hill
Very delicious food The staff is polite and reapectful The food is very cheaper than other restaurants
