I have been in BG for over 27 years. But out of the pizzerias in town Pisanello's was a place I stopped going to simply because of how long the wait became. But today I walked in without calling and ordered a large Italian sub and it was made and done in a reasonable time. It also tasted very good and I was very pleased. I will be back for more Italian subs which cost a cool $8 pre tax. The inside is a cozy mix between classic and modern tastes. But it mostly reminds me of old school flavors especially with the retro pinball and arcade machines. Thanks everyone! And shout-out to Chris!
The best pizza in Bowling Green, probably the best in all NW Ohio. Try the California white with chicken, broccoli and almonds because it's amazing and so unique! It's also the best pizza to reheat in the toaster that I've ever had.
We ordered food an hour and a half ago. Decided to pick up the food for a 30 minute wait vs and hour. We get to the restaurant and to pick up the food and they said it wasn’t ready 35 minutes later. No big deal… another 30 minutes later a gal stated she “overlooked” the order sitting there and said she messed up. Which is FINE .. however the manger on duty refused to give us our $35 back to go buy dinner else where and said we could get half our money back or wait for new food to be made - which will take another 45 minutes ? So here we are almost two hours later and we still have no food. Pretty disappointed to say the least as this place is a staple to BG. If they would of just gave us your money back in full … I would of not posted this review.
The pizza is always delicious here, fluffy light crust, not too thick or too thin, classic pepperoni you cannot go wrong, also the California White w/ broccoli and chicken is delicious!Food: 4/5

Used to be a great place. Parked out front walked in asked for my pizza and to use the restroom, was told I’d have to go around the entire building and enter the back I door. So I drive and park on the backside of the building and handle my business. Upon exiting the bathroom, I noticed the kitchen is to my right, feet away so I catch the attention of someone only after multiple employees walk past ignoring me and ask for my pizza, the large/homely lady informed me I’d have to park on the other side of the building and come through the front door to get my food. Not worth it anymore. No parking out front. Definitely easier to order/deal with somewhere else. Thanks for the decades of great pizza and service, never again. Parking: Horrible and have to walk around entire building to get food if you also need to use the restroom
This is my absolute most favorite pizza, hands down. And you HAVE to get the garlic fingers with ranch for dipping. They are perfection! Seriously, this is the bar by which I judge all other pizza places. Lived in BG for 20 years, and still stop by every time I'm back because I haven't found any place that can beat this Parking: There is a city parking lot behind the building.
We love pizanellos pizza! Food was delicious we had pizza. I felt like our server had a lot of tasks for one person...tables, counter, carry outs. But always one of our favorite pizza spots in BGFood: 5/5
Only pizza in BG worth going to. They have the BEST pizza and atmosphere! We go there about 2x a month and have never been disappointed.
My all time favorite pizza place. The pizza is delicious, the bread sticks are great, the staff is always very friendly. Prices are good.
