I ordered the west coast burger and it was a pale imitation of a Culver’s burger and I can’t believe it won the burger clash in 2022. The garlic fries were shredded parm with minced garlic on top. lol. Was expecting serious gourmet work from this place. The service was great so that makes up for it a little bit.
What a fantastic place! It has a cozy vibe. We shared a booth near the bar that had a sense of privacy to it. It was busy on a Saturday at 5pm, and was fully packed as we left. A motorcycle gathering had closed the street outside, so we felt very lucky to get a seat when we did.nnThe tap list here is impressive. I was thrilled that they had so many ciders to choose from, including several from one of my favorite cideries, 2 Towns. My husband was happy to have one of his favorite imports, Kilkenny, which is hard to find in the US, and followed it up with a local beer from Fernson, Ears Up.nnWe started off with a South Dakota specialty, Chislic. I asked our server if it was more authentic grilled or fried, and she said grilled. They were really good!nnMy husband had the Bourbon Bacon Burger with garlic fries. He really enjoyed it. I snagged a fry and it was tasty, with bold garlic. I had the pork tacos. These were not small street tacos, but very filling full-size tacos. A bit messy, but our server left us plenty of napkins.nnWhen she came by to ask if we needed anything more, we asked for the check. She said it’d be right out, and asked if we’d like free mini cupcakes as a thank you. She commented they’d been short staffed. I must say, everyone in there was working hard the boss came by to check with us several times and we have no complaints, only compliments.nnWe then shared two mini cupcakes, one vanilla and one red velvet. It was a sweet ending to a really great meal.
Just stopped there based on reviews.nnThis place is so cozy. Food is excellent, service was terrific. The barmaid/waitress was so warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Brookings.
Awsome burger, everything was delicious! took a triple patty clash 2024 and extra bacon, not sure if I got the extra bacon but wow that was awesome!! Highly recommend the cheese curds and salad as well! Highly recommend!
Pints & Quarts is a fantastic place! Burger was amazing! Great bourbon selection. Staff are incredibly friendly and fun. I had a great time and will be back soon! Ryan
