Casually strolled in after walking around the area. The atmosphere was definitely what drawed us into the cafe. I guess we came in slightly late, so we decided not to order food. However, being Aussies, we are avid coffee drinkers - to which the coffee passed the vibes! Well done to the manager on shift. She knows she can create a great coffee!
Good cafe for vegan/vegetarian folks-lots of options. I enjoyed the cookies the most. The food we ordered was quite mediocre and lacked overall flavour-definitely not up to par with other vegan restaurants. With the prices they are charging all the food/drinks should be exceptional. Portion sizes are also quite small in comparison to other cafes. I wish I read some of the reviews here more closely before dining in.
This is THE cutest spot serving the best avo toast! I got the “bougie” with a coffee. The coffees are brewed from Italian-style blends, roasted by Milano. The salad dressing sesame-ginger vinaigrette clashed with the flavours of the avo toast Kalamata olives, oven-dried tomatoes and truffle aioli. Water is an excellent palate-cleanser! Pro-tip: if you enjoy a pour over then wait until the barista is putting stickers on takeaway cups. Worth the wait!
Unfortunately the place is run by teenagers that don’t understand what service is. A woman that ordered after us got her food first. We were the only table dining in and waited 25 min for cold Avo toast. They were out of eggs. Two Avo Toasts and Two coffees came to $45 with a 10% tip. Which is simply not worth the value. The food we ordered required cutlery. We then had to wait an additional 5 min for them to wash cutlery in the dishwasher because they didn’t have any to serve us. We were the only table inside. I would not recommend and I won’t be returning.
With its kitsiIano like vibe & unassuming minimalistic presentation, I wasn’t sure what to expect…counter service? Check, fresh food? Check, comfortable atmosphere? Check & a surprisingly decent play list mixing 90’s pop and Indy favs for a pleasant overall brunch experience, parking on the one way in Langley might leave you window shopping along the little curios & shops on the way.
Mediocre food, high prices, bad service. Cute decor but unfortunately that's about it. Won't be back due to bad service and was treated like I was stupid. Ordered the grilled cheese that comes with the tomato soup. Sadly the soup never came. When I asked, the girls just bluntly said "you ordered the KIDS grilled cheese". Frankly I didn't understand what that meant because I didn't even see a "kids grilled cheese" on the menu at all. When I inquired further the girls seems annoyed and told me that I should have specifically ordered the grilled cheese PLUS soup, because the kids one is grilled cheese only. I said I'm still confused because I didn't order a "kids" grilled cheese and that the only grilled cheese on their menu says soup included. Then they finally admitted that they ran out of tomato soup. But I can wait for them to make more and charge me extra for it. If they ran out of soup, they should have told me when I ordered it. Nowhere on the menu do I see "kids grilled cheese." I ordered a grilled cheese and the girl taking my order just decided to punch in KIDS grilled cheese without telling me or letting me know tomato soup is sold out. Very disappointed with the experience and nothing about the food makes me want to return.
They made me a super tasty salted caramel latte with oat milk that I just finished. Every sip was amazing. Whatever coffee they used was robust without being bitter or acidic tasting. Didn’t know they were a vegan place, but they did have a dairy option of skim milk if that’s what you prefer. Vegetarian options: It’s a vegan cafe
Chill place, good music at appropriate volume level, good selection of hot and cold drinks, is not so busy, good seating area, a few electrical outlets available in case you need to charge your electronics.Food: 5/5
This place gives me a good vibes and has very professional workers. Great food and the tea was gas. 10/10 customers service.
Super cute cafe! Great customer service. My first time in, i notified the barista and they walked me through the menu in a very relaxing way. They made great suggestions! I got the blue lavender latte, both warm and cold, it was amazing. Not too sweet, so you could taste the lavender! I also got the pinkavo toast with an egg, good portion size. Good covid protocols. The highlight was the amazing customer service. It is on the pricier side but when you are paying that price it’s great to see good customer service skills with it.
