Wonderful experience and amazing food. The waitress we had was prompt and attentive. Quick to answer questions and make suggestions. Food came out quick but not too quick lol. Home made for sure. The mushroom soup is hands down the best I've ever had. My son loved his chicken sandwich.. it was a bit messy but worth it. Great job.
Very fun place to eat, with great service. There is a good kids menu with burgers, spaghetti, Mac n cheese etc. tons of diner food on the adult menu with killer burgers. Milk shakes were great. It's a clean restaurant with a unique 50s diner feel. great for families.Food: 4/5
The meal was unfortunately very underwhelming. I will admit we walked in 50 min before closing, and it was very busy, so I don't think this was them at their peak for sure. First of all, the milk shakes were fantastic, definitely recommend the "Maleficent" for those of age, but milkshakes are pretty straight forward. The food was unfortunately not great. It wasn't *bad*, but "tolerable". The fries were dry and tasted like the oil was old end of the day remember, but still it was notable. The fish was quite overcooked. Not burnt, but not anything near what I hoped for. The burger was "a burger", nothing particularly noteworthy about it. I've definitely had better from PCD before. I'll go again, but if they are that busy we'll go somewhere else. Overall, they fed us, we walked out satisfied, but that "satisfied" would probably have been "disappointed" were it not for the milkshakes.
Retro diners don't usually have the reputation of amazing food so I was pleasantly surprised how good the food tasted. There were some minor things That could use improvement. The ceaser wings were a little under seasoned and the Mac and cheese needed more cheese but overall it was a pretty solid dining experience.Food: 4/5
The food was all right. Not bad, not great, but all right. One of the staff members was sitting at a nearby table adding up receipts. She apparently couldn't get the math to work out and was dropping extremely loud F bombs despite the families with toddlers seated nearby. I get it, we all have bad days, but when another staff member went over and whispered to her about it, she laughed - then kept at it. Very unprofessional. The milkshake was good though
Ever since this location in Saskatoon opened it’s the only one my family goes to. I go there for lunch quite often and the food is always so amazing. I highly recommend getting one of their burgers with a side of fries and gravy. Their gravy tastes almost homemade and you can’t go wrong with their variety of burgers.
Super fantastic design and respectful employees. The weather was a little chill that night, so the waiter offered us their outdoor fire table which was a great idea. It was warm and cozy. We went there with two of our friends, we ordered their Cadi burger our server recommended that which was so delicious. I can say it was one of the bests in Saskatoon. At the end we had an apple pie which was too yummy but big for 2 people. You can reserve the Car bench by calling them.
Went here for a nice dinner, it was very busy so service was a little slow. Next time we go might up it to 5 if the service is faster. The food was good, the store front was clean, and I will go again.
Service is excellent as always! Always a great place to catch up with friends over some yummy food! However, just on my recent trip to Pink Cadillac, I found there is an area for improvement. I wish they would spread the sauce on the burger better. About 2/3 of my pink caddy burger was sauce-less and the last 1/3 had just a teensy bit. I got a poutine as a side and enjoyed it. Between too much gravy vs not enough, I choose too much so I thought it was tasty! My boyfriend said it was too much so he didn’t like it. Guess it depends on what your preference is! The Caddy Burger was not bad either; sauce was the issue here again. My bf got mac and cheese as a side - they don’t add toasted bread crumbs on the side ones so that’s too bad cause it definitely levels it up. It was also my bf’s birthday so he got a free The King’s Ice Cream Sandwich! It’s huuuuge and while it’s delish cause it’s ice cream, the cookie was very difficult to cut.
The atmosphere was great, not noisy, early rock'n'roll music played in the background that matched the decor, takes the diners back in time. The service was great. Lots of choice on the menu, malt menu, and liquor menu. The food came fast and was very tasty. Wouldn't this be a great place for a 50s themed dinner party?
