Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre

Definitely a wonderful, peaceful and serene place to go for a walk. You can feel a lot of good energy in there and it has somekind of beauty to it, both to the eyes and to the soul. A good place to remember all the wonderful people who lived here and also to remind you to lead a wonderful life

REPOST: The late Filipino-Canadian singer songwriter and actor Rodel Belvis Naval February 16, 1953 - June 11, 1995 buried there. I visited May last year as a tribute for all Filipino-Canadians who contributed here in Canada.n

My sister-in-law was buried at Pine Hills Cemetery in 1987. I wanted to pay respect to her and not knowing where her plot was located, I called the office and a lady by the name of Emily answered the phone. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful in answering all my questions. She also went out of her way to check the monument for me to see if the inscription was as I had described it. Emily was very pleasant to talk to and instead of feeling stressful like I always do when calling a cemetery centre, I didn't feel dreadful as I thought I would be. Thanks to Emily for her kindness.

It is so peaceful here and there is beauty at every turn. A wonderful place to walk, collect your thoughts and reflect on life. My niece, when very young, once commented while passing by, that this is the place where all the dead people live. And I guess that's true. My grandmother and grandfather on my mother's side, both of my parents, as well as my uncle husband of my mother's sister are all living here. One day I will join them.

We have a few family members laid to rest here, and it is a lovely cemetery. The grounds are well maintained, and the main building is very nice with bathrooms that are spotless. The staff are easy to talk with, and when we asked them to raise one of our family member's brass plate as it started to sink over time, they had it done asap.
