This is the worst experience I've had at a dry cleaning service, ever! First I went to one of the facilities, it was literally, 10-15 miles away from my home. I was thinking it was 24 hour service, however, when I finally go there, I was told by the gentleman that they don't do 24 hour service on the weekend. My question, why don't they do 24 hour service on the weekend? They're open??? At any rate, they charge you the same amount as if it were 24 hour service. I turned in 9 garments. When, he gave me the total, my heart sank. it was over $100. He gave me a %10 discount on top of it. It was still too much. I had a vest that needed the buttons re sewn, with the bunch. Finally, after sitting around the facility for 20 minutes or more, I requested to pay for the times. I paid for the bunch and could finally leave. So, I turned the items in on a Saturday. I received an email that they were done on Monday afternoon. I thought wow, that was faster than they expected as I was told they would be done on Tuesday. I couldn't come pick the items up till Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, I went in there and as soon as I got there, I was told by a Manager, Terry, that I owed some more money. I was disgusted! My body became inflamed. I asked how do I owe anymore money. She starts to stutter and says hold on I'll pull it up. How was it she new I owed more money if she hadn't seen it on the system? And, if so, why wouldn't that reason be on the receipt she was looking at? She pulls up the excuse. I immediately tell her, no, that's impossible, I paid for these items before I left. I tell her sternly, I want to speak to her Supervisor. She get's an attitude and says, "nevermind, just take the stuff and go." I leave explaining that this stuff was overpriced as it was. Then, I get home and go over the items. My white shirt has little stains on the sleeves, my vest has a little white mark on the edge of the button portion of the vest, also, the vest buttons were not sewn on the vest and the top button is literally falling off. Once more, they gave me an entire new suite of someone-else's. Thursday, I bring the vest and the suite back, as I hadn't noticed the white shirt until Saturday when I tried it on for the wedding on Sunday. At any rate, I brought the vest and the suite that wasn't mine, back. Terry was at the desk again, that morning. I told her that the suite wasn't mine and it had my name on it. And, the vest wasn't done. My buttons were not affixed. She again tried to charge me more money. At, that point, I had it with this place, they'd just made a mistake of giving me someone else's suite, she didn't even so much as look into the system and see if i'd all ready paid, and she said that I owed more. I'd gotten angry and began to speak. She cut me off, and said, "if you're going to get like that, I'm going to send you to my manager." I said, "Yes, send me to your manager." She gave me the information I needed, and there I was wasting gas money to go to a different facility. I left, and went to the other facility. The manager there, owned the issue and explained that she would fix it and get it to me the next day. I thought, great. I go back when I have time, that Saturday to pick up the vest. When I put the vest on the button at the top is crooked, and there is a wrinkle in the vest as the top button was not placed in the correct position. I am so upset with this companies time consuming over priced antidotes. I will never, ever go there again!

I decided to try out the pick up and delivery service last week. I sent a text to my driver, detailing exactly what I wanted done for each bag of clothes: 1 bag is press only and hang (dress shirts and dress pants), the 2nd bag is wash/dry/fold. I even put written notes inside each bag. When the driver arrived, I verbally went over the instructions AGAIN. All my clothes came back as washed, dried, and folded, except for the dress pants. The dress pants were DRY CLEANED, which is NOT what I requested. They also put creases at the side seams. Worst of all, one of the dress pants had 2 iron marks on it. The dress shirts were folded which caused wrinkles. There were multiple broken-out invoice tickets taped to the boxes/plastic. Why couldn't they provide ONE itemized/detailed invoice for this whole order? How do I know I got $10 off my first order? The driver came back to pick up the dress pants and dress clothes, so they can "fix" the issues and return them later that day. I called the manager, Derek. He apologized and said he won't charge me for the dress pants and also give me a $50 store credit for future orders. Awesome! Wonderful customer service, right? I put in my 2nd order of laundry. They returned my dress pants and shirts that day. The iron burn marks were still there, the unwanted creases were all still there. The shirts looked like they just hung them up to look like they did something. They washed/dried/folded my 2nd order and returned them today, which is what I wanted. I called Derek to double check the charges because the "invoices" didn't reflect any in-store credit. He said he'll give me $30 off this 2nd order. I told him I thought I had a $50 in-store credit. He said he didn't charge me for the dress pants which was $50, and so $30 off my 2nd order is generous enough. Then he raised his voice at me and accused me of trying to get things for free. I calmly told him, no, he should honor the $50 credit he said he would give me on my future order. He continued to push his point that he is generous enough to give me $50 off for the dress pants and $30 off my 2nd order. That is NOT what we agreed on last Tuesday. But I told him OK. I'm done. This business lacks integrity, does not pay attention to details, and does not follow through on their promises. Apparently, Derek's mom owns the business, so there's no point in talking to anyone else either. I won't be recommending Pilgrim Cleaners to any family or friends.
