Love this place! Amazing decor! Very cozy and welcoming, good vibes all around. Came here for breakfast and I really enjoyed it! The portions are fair and the food is yummy! It’s a nice place to chill and have a good time.
I recommend it if you're looking for a cozy place with good food. Pros: -Great decor, and ambiance. -Nice service and fast. -The food we ordered was tasting good. -You have space on and between the tables to not feel tight. Cons: -Very slightly over what I would have paid for the dish, but you have all the pros that compensate it.
Cute café, good food, a little pricey for what you get. The sandwich was really good same for the fries and the smoothie. Nothing too remarkable but solid. Loved the ambiance and the service was really good. It’s super packed during lunch so be weary. Enjoyed it! Want to stop by again to try what they’ve got for dinner. 7/10Recommended dishesWaffle Fries
Very cute spot. Nice to eat on the patio. Service was good and our water glasses were always full. Food was good! I had the pigeon salad and my friend had the pigeon special sandwich and he loved it. It was just confusing when waiting to get our bill which took a long time but apart from that everything was great
Was on Monkland for another reason but decided to give it a try as the setup and patio looked nice. We ended up sitting inside as it was raining. Decor is nice inside, music a bit louder than regular. Shared few plates. My favorite was the Shakshuka Halloumi and the Blueberry pancakes. Orange juice was nice but warm. also liked the waffle fries but the portion is quite small for the price. would definitely come back.
The wait was a bit long but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the waffles fries were great. Loved plates and food presentation as well. I enjoyed their dessert; the carrot cheesecake was so yummmmmy.
The place looks very nice, but the music was very loud. I ordered the Caccio e Peppe noodles and I really didn't like them. As for the pancakes, they were very tasty but they had a lot of syrup on them, which made them very sweet. I also ordered a matcha latte which I liked very much. Overall, the place is nice but i don’t know if I would go back again.
The food appearance was nice, however the taste was really sub par. The orange juice tasted good though. I would probably just take a regular breakfast plate next time as the menu items we ordered really did not please us.
Shakshukas / Halloumi & Labneh/ Roasted Red Pepper, Tahini, Mint, Pomegranate, Pine Nuts, Labneh a grilled Halloumi . So whenever someone says the word Shakshuka to me as a Moroccan Jew my radar goes up along with my authentic meter hahah. I've been eating this style dish since I wanna say before I can walk. And truthfully my family has made this dish every Friday without fail and I wanna say ours is the best I've ever had. With that being said... Here is how @pigeon.cafe did! . I have to give credit where credit is due and say this dish was very delicious. It was made differently to how I make it at home but now after trying it this way im going to try and test our recipe to this one and see if we could find a happy marriage for the both. The flavours of the Labneh and tahini were good additions but not one that to me are traditional to the dish, but I would feel ignorant to say it didn't add to it because it did! Everything was extremely well balanced, gave more of a eggs in purgatory vibe because of the consistency but flavours were pretty spot on. . We also got the Israeli fried chicken along with the pigeon special both were excellent. Everything was amazing, service a little slow but that's kinda to be expected when the place is packed end to end so for food like that I don't mind waiting a little longer! Amazing breakfast experience, I'll have to go back and try some more stuff asap, great work @food.daddy.shoe and the team at Pigeon Cafe!
This place is quite nice and the vibe is great. Food was good but nothing special for the price. My sandwich was 18$ and some potatoes....the sandwich wasn't big. The regular coffee wasn't good unfortunately. Overall I would go again, more for the atmosphere.
