We have been to this location multiple times since the other locations closed and the food is always fantastic. Silvia served us and I had Chicken Parmesan with a side of cream of broccoli soup. Then I had my usual earl grey tea to finish up! Thanks, Pickle Barrel!
The atmosphere looks nice but I always get takeout from this location. The picture is of a shrimp and lobster pasta dish for $33 and some change. You get only 6 jumbo shrimps in it. And a little bit of real lobster meat. I asked for some black pepper to be sprinkled in but that was ignored as you can see there is none on the pasta. Will instead have my seafood dishes at Red Lobster in Oshawa or Sea Salt in Ajax moving forward.
We ordered fries calamari and shrimps, and pan nachos as our appetizers. We all love it so much. We will come back for it. Our server is Silvia, she is the best server I met.
I think Pickle Barrel on a whole should shut down now. Throughout 15 years I’ve tried 3 different Pickle Barrel. I refused to go for the 3rd time but my best friend really wanted to go so I said okay, maybe the 3rd time would be better…. #”itoldyouthisplaceisnasty” nnThe only thing that was okay was the server.
