I really enjoyed my dinner at Chúuk. We sat on the patio which had heaters!! Our Al pastor & birria tacos were so juicy- but maybe a little too juicy as the tortillas get soggy while eating. However, the margaritas were fantastic. While I would definitely consider this a pricier option for Mexican, it’s a beautiful spot to have munch & yap. “Upscale” Mexican isn’t something you come across often. Nav was our server and he took great care of us. For 2 drinks, 3 tacos and splitting dessert it was $75 before tip.
A frequent local favourite. The food is always fresh and flavourful. A special nod to the La Mora margarita, as well as the Street Corn and Guacamole starters….all are a “must try”!nThe staff are welcoming and attentive. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, but staff at this establishment are knowledgeable about their menu offerings and have ensured a safe dining experience, time and time again. This included a recent large order for a party; the food was delicious, hot and packed to ensure an excellent dining experience at home that was enjoyed by all.nIf you’re looking for an elevated dining experience for a special occasion, or a casual night out - Chuuk will not disappoint!
Loved the food, especially the guac and tacos. The portions are perfect to share amongst 3-4 people if you order a few of them. Service was great and the waiter was very patient and kind!
Went here for mother's day lunch. Definitely make reservations. The vibe is very chic boho and not organically Mexican, which was refreshing.nThey have a patio but wasn't open for the season yet. Ample parking for the restaurant.nThe staff was very polite and friendly. They gave us enough time to look through the menu and did not rush us.nThe corn appetizer was nice but could use a little more heat. In house tortillas chips were good for $4 for a small bowl was a tad steep. Cassava fries were well done and the dip was very good.nBeing a vegetarian i did not try the other food but my company had - the fish tacos, charred shrimp, chicken with rice n plantains.nThe churros were alright the chocolate sauce and Dulce de leche was very nice.nAll the food was very nice, but i found it lacking in value for money.nBut a nice spot for a meal and special occasions.
Stopped here for lunch and was very impressed with everything. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was very good.nnStarted with the guacamole and chips, great choice.nnThen the beef tacos and chimichangas. Very fresh and great flavors.nnThe only issue was the speed, it was very slow... In their defence we didn't mention anything about speeding up.
