Yummy in my tummy. This tapas place was a must. I highly recommend making a reservation. I last minute called in on a Saturday and was able to get a table for two at the bar. Service was great. There is a specials menu alongside their staple dishes. The food was very flavourful. The beef dish came with rice but ordering another side of rice would be a good choice to make. The Thai tiramisu is a must try. I was very intrigued after a friend told me to try it and it’s definitely a must try. The only thing that threw me off was how the rice was served in a plastic bag inside a little container. It took away the experience.
Brilliant execution of Thai flavours with Quebec ingredients. The consistency between the dishes was most striking: the salads were desirably refreshing, the meat mains did not obscure one another, and the desserts were best in class. Our table of 6 was served a blind tasting menu of 12 dishes, which included most of the chef’s specials along with a few of their classics. It suited the group perfectly in volume and shareability. We were able to cover many dishes but left much to look forward to.
A little hidden gem on Saint-Hubert offers well-presented Thai dishes. Service is quick and well-intentioned. We suggest to reserve a place, we reserve later in the evening and arrived in advance. However they were able to find us a cosy place nonetheless. They suggest 3-4 dishes for a party of 2 that are shareable. We left the restaurant satisfied with the amount of food we eat.
Food was great!! Lots of flavours. The Espadon red curry was deliciousssss but the fish could of been softer which shows signs of being overcooked. The curry sauce has a very strong curry and coconut taste, amazing with rice. The sparkling red wine was great as well. It went well with what we ate. Only thing I didn’t like was that my waitress , as she opened my sparkling red wine , it blew everywhere. Also , when she poured my glass, it was all over the place. It wasn’t a “expensive” bottle but still it was 70$, it’s not pleasant to see your bottle being poured like this. I was 7 years waiter before and I never waste customer’s wine like this even if it was a 30$ bottle.
Great take on Thai food. There's a lot of good options to try and they have a specials menu full of we extra dishes. The place is lively but not too loud. The food is delicious, but be warned that it is spicy. I love spicy food and the overall meal was borderline too hot for me I loved it. No single dish was too spicy, it was the accumulation of spicy dishes for over an hour. They have a good wine menu, a small selection of quality beers and a few exotic ish cocktails. You should go for 3-4 dishes for 2 people. We went for 5 and it was too much food. Our highlights were the mushroom salad and the grilled pork. Service was fast and our sever was friendly and helped us navigate the menu well.
One of my favourite meals of the year. The flavours, the textures, the expertise and love put into everything we ate is truly a rarity. The restaurant itself is beautiful and warm and the service is excellent. Also want to give special mention to the banana sundae, it was surreal.
This place was fantastic! All the flavors and combinations were delicious! The staff was super nice and friendly. I liked that the concept they manage is "everything to share" because you can order several dishes and try a bit of everything. We ordered the Luk Shin Plaa Tod fried fish balls, the Some Tam Thai classic green papaya salda and the SII Krong Neua a seasonal dish made of short beef ribs. We were very happy with everything. To dring they have a wide selection of good wines. The only note that I would add is that if you are not used to spicy food be careful with the dishes marked as "spicy" or the dishes that contain chili sauce. I love spicy food and I found it spicy in a good way so I believe that for someone not used to it can be too much. We finished with the Tiramisu Cha Yen a tea thai tiramisu which was a completely new tiramisu experience!
Delicious authentic Thai food. Their peanut sauce is rich and filled with actual peanuts. Great service with staff knowledgeable about the natural wines to pair with the food. Perfect spot for families, dates and other occasions.
The dishes were loaded with playful spicy and subtle flavours and textures, light and fresh but also satisfying like comfort food. I was so full and happy after the corn salad and eggplant salad which came with a nice portion of sticky rice to soak up the sauce off the temporary specials menu. I’ll be back to try more dishes soon :
So flavourful and delicious. Did not disappoint. They don’t have many vegan or vegetarian options for hot dishes but what they do have is delightful. We had the papaya salad, cauliflower salad and the tofu which was my favourite and amazing - the tofu melts in your mouth. Decor is cute, indoors can get a bit noisy but not too overwhelming and service is so friendly and accommodating. The cocktail is really good sweet and tangy.
