Not bad. Pricey for what it is but the good is above average. I liked it. The sopes were really good. Too much green on top but the chicken was tender. I'd get that again. Friend got steak and said it was pretty good
This has the feel of a nice walk up taqueria, but with sit down restaurant prices. The presentation of the food is great, my husband ordered the al pastor quesadilla platter $14 and I ordered the fajita open burrito $13. My husband said his was “ok”, while I thought mine was pretty good. Just pricey.
Great food! Loved the AL Pastor Burrito! Open faced on a house made flour tortilla. I'll be back!!
The wait was long but they had plenty seating so that was nice. I ordered the hangar steak which I’ll never eat again. Something in it just did not taste right. But I also ordered the pastor taco and I’d pay any amount of money for that thing. They had good music and average service.
Honestly I was a little skeptical based on the reviews. Had the complete opposite experience. Sopas were tender and flavorful especially with adding chipotle sauce. Fresh watermelon juice always a treat. Great space indoors and out to hangout plus chill folk music. All around delicious and good atmosphere. Only recommend they add a $3 tacos special every now and again, prices were a bit high - but that’s to be expected in Jackson.
I would have included a picture of the Pork Adobado burrito but it was too delicious and probably the best burrito I've had in my life.
3-4 stars. A very easy going vibe. Their kitchen times can be wicked fast or on the slower side depending on busyness. Their food my picks: burrito w/ wet sauce or puya chicken salad has remained consistently good over the years. I cannot say the same about their margaritas which seem to have a LOT of very cheep alcohol in them. If you drink a margarita be sure to accompany it with lots of water, or don’t, dealers choice.
The place was crowded with screaming children whose parents were encouraging contests between tables yelling... they were amused... It became almost too much noise but eventually quieted down to a dull roar.... Food was OK but not exciting. Probably would not return unless requested by others or once outside seating is open in the summer... no more inside dining for me... Vegetarian options: I am sure they have Veg options Kid-friendliness: Too much so... no dedicated space for kids indoors... Parking: Limited parking Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair friendly... once you get inside there is very little room to maneuver
Awesome little place. Very authentic and delicious food !! It was more of a sit and connect type of restaurant rather than a party type 5 for that; Keep it up ! Unfortunately, I didn't remember to take a pic of the food Food: 5/5
Awful mexican food, no seasoning whatsoever, it seems they open can of beans and dump in pot to heat up. Rice bland, poor plate presentation. I don't know how they are still in business. Is just shameful, they give mexican cuisine a bad rap.
